Where is Haye exciting at Heavyweight if you think turning up with beheadings on a T-shirt hitting Klitschko's head off on a cardboard cut out and staging a brawl in Germany to try and get a big money fight is exciting thats your perogative - but at Heavyweight running from Valuev all night sometime only throwing less than 20 punches in a round, staring at Fraudley for 2 rounds and then his dismal performance against Klitschko is exciting thats up to you - at least Mayweather turns up in the ring - can anyone really tell me that Haye v Fury is pay per view - believe me it will be pay per view only mugs will pay extra to watch the fight.Comment

Most likely would be his biggest payday. But he could take a fight against fury, with a higher chance of him winning, get a mandatory shot at Wlad and get a probably even better payday. I'm not sure why you would say Haye wasn't serious - I think they were scouting the area and Pulev's manager said they were going down the Fury route. Once again, I'm not saying he's afraid of Haye or anything like that - just that a Fury fight made more sense.
I don't think either is being ducked. Specially not Wlad - because he's the champion. As a fighter, you believe you can beat anyone, it's just the mind of the fighter. But it has to be for the right money. What you write is contradictory. In the first paragraph, you say, yes, they may be ducking Wladimir, but also David Haye.
Then in the final sentence you claim 'nobody' is ducking Wladimir.
Back on topic, it's win:win for Haye. With a victory he improves his ranking and moves closer to another title fight loss. He also gets one hell of a pay day.
He'll have also beaten Team Klitschko to the Fury fight. I know they were keen on a match-up this year.
With regards to Haye, when he was champ every man and his cat were calling him out. He was on boxoffice, fighting on HBO/Showtime all that. Now, when he's not a champ there's still the risk of a very bad defeat. No matter how you look at it, he's a hard hard puncher and could KO anyone on his day. As a prospect, it's not very clever to fight that kind of guy for not as much money and no belt.Comment

I am not a nuthugger but I do consider myself a fan of the Wlad. With that said we don't have to wait until Haye knocks out Fury for me to express my opinion of him, Fury sucks. Do you want to know how I came to that conclusion? It was easy I just watched him fight. Was it you that also said something about fighters ducking Haye? I f so I have to ask how can anyone duck a fighter who fights once a year?Comment

Yeah, like Povetkin sucks too. And so did Wach, Pianeta, Thompson, Peter & Mormeck. Want to go further?I am not a nuthugger but I do consider myself a fan of the Wlad. I'm not saying he's being ducked as in "he's scared he'll get GTFO", but you have to realize that making a fight with a ranked opponent is not the simplest thing in the world. As soon as Haye comes knocking on the door, opponents see two things 1) that he hasn't got a belt and 2) that he's a massive star in the uk.
Now, that'll make any fighter push up the price for himself because of the high-risk, low reward - hence some are pricing themselves out. Look at Fury for instance. He's getting 50/50 for a fight when he's never ever in his dreams been a PPV attraction. Just shows you the length Haye will have to go to in order to secure a fight.Comment

Ruiz - old past his best, Bonin limited trial horse, Chisora easy to hit slow, Barret very limited nothing to brag about but you can't say Klitschko performance was outdated when other than Chisora fight was before the Klitschko fight - i'm afraid the little toe syndrome sticks and will be Hayes legacy you can'y change that and how many time has he fought since the Klitschko fight - only once so the outdated response carries no substance.Comment

You were asking when he was entertaining not about the level of opposition. Stop changing the subject to suit your agenda.Ruiz - old past his best, Bonin limited trial horse, Chisora easy to hit slow, Barret very limited nothing to brag about but you can't say Klitschko performance was outdated when other than Chisora fight was before the Klitschko fight - i'm afraid the little toe syndrome sticks and will be Hayes legacy you can'y change that and how many time has he fought since the Klitschko fight - only once so the outdated response carries no substance.
And btw, when was Wlad entertaining in the ring?
Ps. Use a damn fullstop every once in a while, your posts make no sense.Last edited by LacedUp; 06-26-2013, 08:50 AM.Comment

Povetkin is an Olympic Gold Medalist. He's doesn't 'suck'.Yeah, like Povetkin sucks too. And so did Wach, Pianeta, Thompson, Peter & Mormeck. Want to go further?

Peter was no bum, either. Some people on here were backing him to KO Wlad.Last edited by yoz; 06-26-2013, 08:54 AM.Comment

So, your point is that Fury sucks as much as Wach, Pianeta and Mormeck so he should also get a shot at Wlad? As for Thompson and Peter if you claim that Fury is a legit top 10 fighters than so were those two. I actually thought that Pusvetkin was a decent fighter he is just s Pus. As for Haye how many times has he retired? He also, by his own choice, fights once a year so how many doors can he possibly be knocking on?Yeah, like Povetkin sucks too. And so did Wach, Pianeta, Thompson, Peter & Mormeck. Want to go further?
