That comment made me lol. Kris made you eat your words Dan
Still, I'm pretty sure Rakhim will fight some easy fights and get another shot. It wouldn't surprise me if he lost another title fight. He doesn't seem too bright as his performances here and in the Taylor fight suggested.Comment

I would love to see you both e-tough guys telling him that in his face
Chakhkiev is still one of the best fighters in CW, he just lacked of experience and stamina in that fight. Plus Włodarczyk was horrible style match-up for him, I knew it all along, also here in Poland the word on the street was Włodarczyk took this fight very seriously and never looked better...
With that being said I still think Chakhkiev would beat Huck and Hernandez, I don't know about Jones, guy is one big mistery plus he fights very rare.
Rakhim just met his Marquez that's all, he'll be backLast edited by Szef; 06-22-2013, 02:31 AM.Comment

I'm being rather harsh on Rakhim but he did well before Kris took over. I really don't want him to become another David Lemieux, somebody I was pretty high on, that looked the part ect..
I think Rakhim could take Yoan Pablo with a punchers chance. I still think Rakhim-Huck would see the full twelve rounds. The wildcard is Jones..Comment

Fight plan went to **** when he realised he was hurting Wlod( a true champ) as easily as he was,he smelt blood and an early finish, could he have been a little more measured with his raiding attacks he would have got him out of there.he was throwing ten to everything Wlod threw.stamina may not be an issue if he takes his foot off the gas and sets himself in 3rd gear rather than 6th.even if he worked half as much as he did last night in every round he still would have won every round.
It wasnt as though he sold himself on his own hype he simply punched himself out,Wlod was hurting bad.Chakhkiev was trying to apply the pressure to get him out of there early as to me and I'm pretty sure his fans and Wlod's felt he wasn't going to stand up to that pressure for 3-4 rounds.Wlod didn't win a single round until the first knock down, and even after his third knock down he was still behind on the cards.if that was Wlod's gameplan to take a savage beating for 5 and a half rounds I'll compliment him,but as far as I'm concerned he had the look of a beaten man until he realised The Machine was running on empty as early as the fourth.
Credit them both.that was awesome fight, and Wlod has proved he is as tough if not tougher than the rest of the division.
Chambers ! How'd Eddie deal with a fight where he's worked every second of every round ? That guy last time I saw him looked as though he had a midget hiding in his stomach.Eddie couldn't match Wlod or Chakh.
Watching Chakhkiev had me thinking he has the blueprint on how to beat a Klitschko, fearless aggression, and powerful inside work.I adore both Klitschko brothers but that style would give Wlad fits.if he can work on stamina, and be more selective with his raids his conditioning isn't far already from 12 high intensity rounds.he will be most avoided man in boxing after that showing, along with Kovalev,Golovkin and Pulev.Europe truly is becoming the Mecca of boxing.no is interested in boring style of Ward and Hopkins.Euro fight fans love to be excited with these styles.Comment

A lot did I admit but I still feel even without adjustments he wrecks just about anybody he just met his match tonight and I won't bull**** I did think Rakhim would win but gave Wlod big props and knew he was a big test and arguably #1 at CW, I am gutted& when I said in PM Wlod is a beast I wasn't tying to hype anything I genuinely meant it and wouldn't hesitate to pick him over the other CW champs.
Feel you're being a bit harsh on Rakhim though, he gunned for Wlod after only 16 pro fights and was chasing all the champions. He has never striked me as a guy to go the easy route if anything the hardest route and I think he may of found that out tonight.
I promise you he will be world champion.Last edited by dan_cov; 06-22-2013, 03:27 AM.Comment
