You listed them. Never won a title, only 21 bouts, already fought:

    Molina, close loss IMO
    PWIll, comfortable win
    Vanes, close win
    Angulo, stopped him

So he's anything but protected, and he'll beat most of the contenders. He's not a full level above the rest, so he may be overrated by some, but every fighter has boosters.

If El Oro de Guantanamo came to your town to fight, would you pay your hard earn money to see him especially if El Oro de Guantanamo was the A-side?

Boxing is a business and El Oro de Guantanamo need the appropriate partner to be relevant...he is a great boxer but it is what it is.

I would. Why wouldnt I? Lara should be fighting on the east coast or Florida. Not in Vegas or Mississipi. I mean, who the hell fights in Mississippi to begin with? Lol

Most people and myself of course apreciate tough fights with big hard punches, trading, knockdowns on both sides, just a real war. But i think people should also apreciate masterfull boxing performances like Rigo vs. Donaire. But i think Lara is not on the same level as Rigo is. I mean he almost lost to Angulo, he was close before getting stopped himself. He had big trouble keeping a hard hitting but unskilled and slow opponent away from him. I dont think he could beat Alvarez.

Whatever...next time they bring El Oro de Guantanamo to ******a as the main event, I will PM you to make sure you have your ticket stub.

I like El Oro de Guantanamo as a boxer and I can watch him on TV on an undercard or if he is in the main event where he is NOT the A-SIDE but I cannot pay hard earn money to watch his style live especially if he is the main event and for Christ sakes if he is the A-SIDE.

El Perro made their fight exciting on Saturday not Oro de Guantanamo but don't get it twisted...Oro de Guantanamo isthe better boxer but boxing is a business.

Schaefer doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. If Lara was to be promoted properly, eventually he would sell. Long ago the same was said about Mayweather and we all know how that turned out.

Lol don't worry about it, that's not gonna happen. And the last time there was a boxing event here it was when Sweet Pea was around.

I don't care if he headlines or not but he shouldnt be fighting in a place like Mississippi.
