    Nobody is doubting that.

Quitting implies he could of still fought on. I dont see how he could continue.
    No, it doesn't.

    quit
    adjective \ˈkwit\

to be released from obligation, charge, or penalty

You can't even answer REED's simple 'yes or no' question because you're too busy skirting the issue and making up false definitions for the word in an attempt to make it fit your erroneous argument.

Man, don't ever worry about what a dumbass has to say. Just keep it moving.

he was injured and didn't quit.

        he was injured and quit.
Both were in the ring, you weren't. One was told he would lose his title if he didn't finish, and the other thought that he would risk losing his sight. I wouldn't have called either a quitter or said either quit.

Reed felt there was a difference between quitting and not being able to compete. IMO, angulo couldn't continue fighting because of the injury. Quitting for me is what duran or odh did. I am not redefining the word.

everytime a fighter stops fighting is not quitting.

I don't doubt that he couldn't continue due to the pain he was in thanks to the injury he suffered. But that doesn't change the fact that he quit.

If you voluntarily withdraw from something, you quit. It really is that simple.

Using your particularly flimsy train of thought, one could easily say that Pope Benedict didn't actually quit his job as pope, or that President Nixon didn't actually quit his job as President of the United States. What you're doing is drawing a line in the sand in regards to quitting that essentially gives you the right to determine exactly what constitutes a 'quit.'

You can't do that. The definition of the word has been quite clear for centuries, and no amount of protesting on your part is going to change that. If you tried using such a hairbrained excuse for logic in the world of academia you'd be laughed off campus.

If you can't skip them, especially after publicly stating that you'd never respond to me again just a few nights ago, then how on Earth do you expect him to be able to?

                    • Well, sucks for Angulo. So many of his fans touted him as a warrior who'd rather go out on his shield in the ring and die standing... but seems like he's content with turning his back and quitting.
To bad he didn't go out like in the Kirkland fight
