In angulos case his pain tolerance is what allows him to fight the way he does. His pain tolerance was clearly compromised with his injury. He could only win the fight by hunting lara down and taking punches for the chance to land the big shot.

His reaction supports your argument. He basically turned his back. In retrospect he definitely shouldve taken a knee.
