Angulo quit. He had reason to, but that doesn't change the fact that he quit. A quit is a quit is a quit. Quit, quit, quit, quit.

There once was a man named Alfredo,
Who fought like the Tijuana Tornado,
Then he got hit, and his eye looked like ****,
And he said to his trainer "I quit."
I'll have your babies. You are a rock star.

His reaction supports your argument. He basically turned his back. In retrospect he definitely shouldve taken a knee.

Its just hard for me to equate what duran did or what odh did with manny to this.
        Did Angulo quit or not?

I don't care what his reasoning was, did he quit or not?

Not even a chance to land the big shot. He already landed the big shot... twice...

Lara got up from it twice, and beat the brakes off him.

Yep, he quit. He can try and spin it any way he wants, but he looked at the ref and clearly wanted no more.

Look A$$hole, we can argue boxing, but when you have to name call, it just tells me that you're not built to talk about this sport armchair. You called Rios a slurring something in another thread, and I knew that you were one sorry inconsiderate cry baby who nobody can take serious.

Nah, he retired due to injury. Duran quit.

Thats why he consulted with the ringside physician first right?
