You sir are truly nutts. I'm the biggest Punisher fan on this site, but Lara dominated that fight.

I missed the part where I said he didn't. Just don't understand how one good performance leads to him being better than Canelo. He didn't look too good against Vanes and vulnerable with Angulo.

Angulo is probably heavier-handed, but I don't think the difference in power is that wide. Canelo is faster/more explosive than Angulo, which makes up the difference. Surely, Lara won't want to stand in front of Canelo and eat shots.

The difference that fans should be looking at are the styles and stamina. I'm sure that Canelo will not fight Lara the way Angulo did, and I don't think he's even capable of doing it either. He'll have to find a more effective way of getting to Lara.

Canelo looks like the harder puncher to me.

Canelo has one of the most overrated powers in boxing. Garcia is the other one. One is KOing guys two divisions south and the other one is KOing fossils.

Canelo has such overrated power. He def has power but its nothing insane.

We've always seen Canelo be the aggressor but when in the ring vs someone his size he decided to just cruise the whole fight. He won't be nowhere near as aggressive vs Lara.

Completely disagree. Not that I'm picking Angulo, but he is not getting knocked out early by Saul Alvarez last night. Ginger doesn't hit that hard, and he's not THAT good.

When was the last time Canelo stopped someone his own size let alone someone with a chin like Angulo?

Canelo's power is ridiculously overrated on this site and people are also forgetting he is not a relentless pressure fighter with a battle tested chin like Angulo. Alvarez probably throws around 30 punches per round (sometimes less) while Angulo can rack up 80+ punches per round while eating through punches almost seamlessly.

The thing with hard-chinned fighters is that when you hit them and they don't flinch, you leave yourself exposed for a strong counter be it a left hook to the head/body or a quick overhand right (and that's what happened to Lara).
