poster roy hobbs made a thread-got reminded that odh/bhop was 157 and whitaker/chavez was 145 so he changed it to 2 times at the weight once his hate thread backfired.

If someone cannot see the hypocrisy of Floyd fighting Cotto and I quote, "at 154 where he's healthy", but somehow needing a catchweight to fight another jr middleweight slightly over a year later is dumbfounding to me.

I was going to make a tread but decided against it. Is there any other champion/pfp king/decades best, in the history of boxing that needed a catchweight to fight another fighter in a weight class he's already a 2 time champion in??

So is it a hypocrisy or a problem with the weight itself you're having an issue with?

I for one don't like catchweights. I don't think there should be any titles on the line but that's my opinion. Is Floyd ****** for staying what he's said in the past? Of course he is. But how smart was it for Canelo to be ok with doing to 150 just 6 months prior to the Floyd-Cotto fight them stating he'd only fight at 154? **** good both ways, IMO

That's cause neither fit the criteria Bushbaby asked about, 2x champ. Chavez wasn;t even a welter champ at all, so irrelevant. I reminded you of this yesterday, if fact I made fun of you for probably serving this up despite getting corrected. And here you are, trying to serve it back to me again lol. At least pick your targets better, or get up a little earlier next time

And DLH was a dictionary paper champ, not 2x though.

I was just helping you on the thread. I know niether chavez nor ODH were 2 time champions. when roy hobbs created that thread he didn't know -until makavelli pointed things out to him-then he changed it to 2 time champ.

no other fighter I watched is good enough to be a 2 time champ at the division directly above him while also being the lineal champ in the lower class.

but hey if it makes floyd look worse run with it.

cool i missed out on the back and forth sparring, but noticed Floyd fans wanted to /thread with DLH Hopkins. Which tells you all you need to know, that they have to go back to that disgraceful precedent. I mean, DLH didn't even win a belt fair and square, got beat by the weakest link's left hand.

now you see why bhop/odh was brought up. because it was the last time it happened. and it wasn't even a floyd fan that brough this to the TS attention.

But Bushbaby wasn't asking for a 1x champ precedent, paper or otherwise. He was asking for 2x, so what's the issue here?
