I doubt there has ever been a fighter in floyd's unique situation-2 time champ at 154,while the lineal champ at 147, that held the 2nd 154 lb title for a year without defending or being stripped (wba wants that sanctioning fee), that can make the lineal 154 lb champ come down 2 lbs because he wants the big payday.

we didn't find a shameful precedent just answered the TS initial question, which he then changed when he realized it wasn't the 1st time it was done. Its not our fault he didn't know when he created the thread.

You and Bush asked for 2x after roy hobbs got exsposed and debunked because you think it makes floyd look worse. if you do so be it.

If 2lbs is no big deal, why did Mayweather ask for it?

It's hilarious to me the way fans of Mayweather are making it seem as if 2lbs is nothing, yet don't have anything to say about why Mayweather asked for the 2lbs in the first place.

How much of an effect will the 2lbs have on Canelo? Who knows, what I do know is that Floyd just likes to play "I have the biggest ****" game all the time.

He did it with Pac when he demanded the blood tests, he does it every time he's negotiating a fight. I understand he's the star, he's the money maker but Floyd fans can't be mad when people simply point out the type of assh0le that Floyd is.

Oh I've been pushing the 2x thing since way back. Remember, "current and 2x champ, ranked #1 everywhere"? I got a macro for this, don't have to type it up.

But as i said in that thread, 2x is not arbitrary, It's to exclude hit and run 1x paper champs, that might resort to such things.

There's a lot in a pound or two, it can be the difference between being at the absolute top of your game and feeling the worst you have ever felt in your life.

Anyone who says otherwise hasn't ever had to cut down to their optimum "fighting weight", yet still has a very high opinion of their clearly incorrect opinion. Well, that or they're lying, for fear of Floyd shooting his load over some over cunts face instead.

your first sentence is the exact same thing I said about manny v cotto. if it didn't make a difference manny or floyd wouldn't ask for it.

IMO its real simple. If you went at manny and put floyd on a pedestal for non cw's-well you as a poster are gonna get shiiiiiiiited on just as floyd will be. If you defended the 2lbs in manny cotto saying it was no big deal and are not doing so with floyd canelo well your gonna get shiiiited on.

Unfortunately, too many good posters get caught up in the floyd/manny/klit/broner/lucas/british/mexican e wars we have that they post silly **** that comes back on them.

Just be consistent with your argument.

                  You can **** 2 pounds.

                  All relative.

Are you trying to tell me a heavyweigh gives a **** about 2lb.

We just don't know until fight night.

is it a thing....or no thing at all??

call him out on it. definitely. will it make a huge difference in the fight and outcome? probably not. if u wanna look for reasons to not like him, its perfect. but it wont tarnish the win unless canelo drastically looks weight drained, which he probably wont. some ppl on this site look for reasons to complain. floyd is an ass and hes a hyporcite, this is not new.but if u are gonna pan the fight because of those 2 lbs, then imo, u are reaching. if u wont give floyd credit because of it, then u are just looking for a reason not to. call a spade a spade. u dont gotta like him, but respect the fight because its what most of u wanted.
