Floyd should have taken this at 154 where he still would have whooped him.

He put himself in this position to taint the fight with a catch weight

and looks dumb after what they said about PAC.

I think PAC vs rios would be worse for rios at 140 as he suffers to make weight.

    PAC destroys him either way.

I don't give PAC credit for the DlH fight and I don't give

Floyd credit for the jmm fight.

I won't give Floyd full credit for this fight either at 152.

Just because everyone wants it doesn't mean it's not a mistake. Look at how many people wanted Floyd/Guerrero and how that played out. No one is saying Canelo vs Floyd shouldn't happen. But with Floyd having 5 more fights, he should wait. It's a mistake to make the fight now, not a mistake to give Canelo a few more fights, then make it.

I really don't think Canelo will be much of a problem for Floyd. I'm think 117-111 type decision.
Dude, Mayweather pot shots all the time. How do people not see that? His boxing consists of running, dodging, pot shots, running, dodging, pot shots, running, dodging, pot shots - scorecard, W.

How is that different than the Kiltchko's jab you to death boring style? Add defense and Wlad & Vitali suddenly morph into Runweather. So boring.

Guy rarely puts together 3-4 punch combos. Here's to hoping Canelo catches him like Mosely did and finally putting Mayweather to bed. zzzzzzzz

I don't blame Canelo at all because of a career high payday

But Floyd wanting a catchweight when Canelo is only 22 years old, not prime, not P4P is incomprehensible to people that know about boxing
how is asking a old fighter better then as a younger fighter

I have a feeling that Canelo will deliberately show up at 154 and just take the penalty.

Anyway, should be a good one.

                  Every Dog Has Its Day

I give Canelo a chance here. Mayweather, my favorite boxer, has had a loss (first Castillo fight) but avenged it to a battle-fatigued opponent. Floyd is by no means invincible, and a young, hungry, and skillful boxer like Canelo will give him problems. Calculated heavy-handed pressure, not blinded by aggression will emerge as key to taming Mayweather. To declare anyone invincible is cowardice and "cowards die many times before their death". Why 152lbs when Floyd hold a title at 154lbs, cowardice or strategy. Floyd is scared of how physical Canelo can be and by any measure Floyd would like to drain Canelo. You called that a true champion? A true champion who is not cheating will face a bull by its horn. I cannot imagine Sugar Ray, Duran, Hearns, Ali, Tyson, Joe Louis, etc asking an opponent to drain weight when fighting in their division. Floyd doesn't DARE to be great but CHEATS to be.
I am also watching to see if the threat to strip Canelo will stand since he was given 4-5 days to choose a belt, especially now that a mega-million-dollar fight is in line and the always thirsty WBC wouldn't wanna miss on its payday. Changed your mind, Sulaiman?

this is what the ginger should do just to fu.ck with floyd mentally.... not that it will matter... the ginger will still lose... and if the ginger loses at full weight, he can't make the excuse that he was weight drained either

Translation: Cherrypicker is a potshotter, not a warrior.
Sweet science my ass. Running is not a science, pot shots shouldn't be either.
