i don't see canelo winning this fight but it would be a very good chance to try...

Mayweather is going to hit Canelo at will after about 4-5 rounds. Canelo is good, showed against Trout he had defense, and great head movement. But he will be attempting to pressure Floyd, tire out after 4-5 rounds, than he'll attempt to fight hard for about 30-45 seconds a round. Floyd will be tagging him. Canelo freezes a bit when he gets hit, I don't see how people haven't noticed it.

I really don't think Canelo will be much of a problem for Floyd. I'm think 117-111 type decision.

Sulaiman is wrong, Canelo is like Vargas, Tyson etc guys that peaked young and fell apart late. Canelo won't be the same by 26-28 imo. Plus you don't lose anything by fighting Floyd. He beats you so what? Best opponent for Mayweather in sept. even if he loses I will enjoy watching this fight instead of Alexander!! Suliaman is just mad he's not gonna get 2 sanctioning fees. Only the WBC 154 pound title is on the line. Had Floyd defended his WBC 147 pound title vs whoever and Canelo did the same vs someone else, that would have been two sanctioning fees for the WBC. Instead of just 1. That's the real reason he's mad.

I'm already beyond tired of all the excuses people are making for Canelo, his "inexperience" being the main one. This kid has almost as many pro fights as Floyd. And if what he says is true, the he has 8-10 fights that he isn't credited for, he has more fights than Floyd. And that's not even the main point. Floyd fought Genaro Hernandez in his 17-18th pro fight. Rigondeaux just smoked Donaire in what, his 12th? Fernando Vargas won his first belt in about his 14-15th fight. Holyfield won the cruiserweight title in about his 11-12th fight. And the most famous "inexperienced" fighter winning a title is Leon Spinks beating the great Ali in his 8th fight. If you can fight you can fight. So please, stop making excuses for Canelo simply because you know he aint in Floyd's league and come Sept 14, your anti-Floyd campain will take another crushing blow.
