[QUOTE=WitherGlove;13437457]All you guys crying about the weight and praising Manny remember he fighting a 140 guy at 14,7 floyd fighting a 154 guy at 152 who is the biggest diva?[/QUOTE

I agree 100%. First the "haters" were saying ole Floyd will never fight Canelo at any weight because he's too scared, now the fight is at 152....I repeat 152, it's not like its at 147 or 145 where Manny made ODLH come to, it's 152 for crying out loud. That is 5 lbs heavier than where Floyd fights at comfortably and 2 lbs lighter than where Canelo fight as comfortably...I'm no mathematician but last I checked 5>2.......regardless if he holds a belt at 154 his normal and comfortable weight is 147..........come fight night Canelo will rehydrate to 170 anyway so what difference does it make....bottom line is Canelo will be victim number 45!

Floyd will probably take something away from canelo like he does with most of his opponents...I think it's the way he makes them reassess their boxing skills which have often been effective in the past but aren't against him..

that being said, this is the best time to make this fight...if canelo manages to beat floyd he'll be a ppv goldmine and get almost full credit...if he were to fight floyd in a year or two he might not as u never know when boxers start losing a step in their mid thirties

I don't blame Canelo at all because of a career high payday

But Floyd wanting a catchweight when Canelo is only 22 years old, not prime, not P4P is incomprehensible to people that know about boxing
Pacquiao fought Hoya at 147yet had Cotto weigh in at 145. Drained Margarito down to 150.

Quit *****ing and enjoy the fact that the biggest fight in boxing is being made, for a change.

Nah, the catchweight gives people the excuse when Mayweather clowns him. He'll be fine.

Personally I dont care about the catch weight because I dont want to see Floyd fight at 154. Hes too small and those 10 oz gloves dont help none either. But I get it hes only doing it for super paydays. Canelos had everything given to him in his career and Floyds giving up age, weight, youth, and power. But thats not enough for you isnt it? Be grateful you get to watch the fight at all.

Undefeated records has tainted our common sense. Canelo has the most loyal fan base in boxing. If he loses they will support him regardless. Also if he losses it's to a great fighter. I can see if he lost to a fighter like Paulie M. But seriously fighters use to lose and bounce back. Now it's all about the "0" . Kid won the lottery imo. Worse case scenario is that he gets tattooed all night in a clinic. I personally think he's playing with the house's money. All the pressure is on Floyd not some 22 year old fighter who most expect to lose. Sulaiman of course is worrying about his vested interest.
