Sorry but Carl Froch is not a top fighter. He is a good fighter but not a top fighter. He is just athletic enough to beat B level fighters and look good but he cannot stand up against an elite fighter.

Froch is good but not top 10 in the sport. Andre made him look like an amateur and he will beat him up even worse in the rematch. People need to stop overreacting to a win over a mediocre Kessler.

Their rankings are sketchy but the champions are legit and the belt still holds weight.

Rigondeaux, Mayweather, Canelo, Garcia, Ward, Martinez, Dawson, and Wlad.

When has Mayweather faced the no.2 of the division? Recently, that is.
How is Canelo the champion without facing Mayweather, the no.1 of 154?
Garcia never beat the guy who beat Khan. RING decided to leave Peterson out.
You also forgot Hernandez - the belt was made available for a rematch of the fight he just won.

The RING belt has lost its lustre, it has pursued a policy of giving belts out due to technicalities. Some of the RING belt holders are NOT legitimate lineal champions. The belt practically recognises a decent fight, much the same as the WBC Diamond belt.

That's a great list. Some people may have grips with Froch/Wlad, but you know, it is a debate over dominance over much lesser opposition, or a great run over decent opposition, there's no right or wrong. There are little things, such as i'd personally have Ward over Mayweather, but really I can happily live with it the way it is. It's a solid list
