It's all about these guys for me

    http://www.tbrb.org/p4p/

    1 Floyd Mayweather USA 44-0-0 (26) Welterweight
    2 Andre Ward * USA 26-0-0 (14) Super Middleweight
3 Juan Manuel Marquez MEX 55-6-1 (40) Welterweight
    4 Sergio Martinez * ARG 51-2-2 (28) Middleweight
    5 Manny Pacquiao PHI 54-5-2 (38) Welterweight
6 Carl Froch ENG 30-2-0 (22) Super Middleweight
    7 Wladimir Klitschko UKR 60-3-0 (51) Heavyweight
8 Abner Mares MEX 26-0-1 (14) Junior Featherweight
    9 Guillermo Rigondeaux * CUB 12-0-0 (8) Junior Featherweight
10 Nonito Donaire PHI 31-2-0 (20) Junior Featherweight

Notice no Adrian Broner, because these guys know the score and are not pushed into a double agenda by GBP/Oscar
    I like that list.

Ring is owned by Oscar. Ring's top 10 pfp. is full of fighters that Oscar promotes who probably have not yet earned a place in the top ten. I am a big fan of Canelo and I think he will someday be among the best, maybe the best pfp. But right now it's a bit early to have him in the top ten until he backs up the Trout win with a win over someone like Lara. Mares has great potential but he needs to do more also. Broner has done very little to get his high rating in Ring's top 10. Ward really does deserve to be#2 pfp. I think Froch has done enough to be in the top ten. I wish Ring would remove Broner from the top 10 and put Froch in the top 10. I am sure Broner will earn a top 10 pfp. rating soon. PFP. is just a matter of opinion and that's my opinion. Oscar owning the Ring and being a promoter and the ring rating fighters is a conflict of interest.

Good post. Mares is deserving though, maybe not top 5 but 10. The Ring didn't instantly turn to **** when DLH bought them, they first purged their staff and even then tried to look kinda objective, until the past year or so. Now they're a total joke

Paper champ at 130, about to beat a paper champ at 147.

When they put Broner on there I was done with them. When they ignored Rigo it reinforced my choice. Haven't looked at it since then and now Canelo's 10? The Ring is just another promotional arm of Golden Boy. Try ESPN, they have Froch at 10.
