Why doesn't he move up then? Or, if he wishes to stay at 168, fight Andre "Road Runner" Dirrell in Oakland?

At the moment he's just sniping from the sidelines.

So you prefer to see him fighting the Kelly "Jim Beam" Pavlik's in jOakland instead?

LHW is weak, don't see how it's any more appealing than 168, in fact it isn't. Edwin Rodriguez is interested, lets see if he can get past Grachev .

For some reason I sense the butt-hurtedness among Ward-fans is strong around these parts.

That doesn't apply to all Ward fans. He's my favorite fighter, but if he wants Froch he should just go ahead and fight him in the UK. If nothing else, to shut people up. If he really wants this fight as bad as it seems, then travel, because that's how it's going to happen.

Otherwise, shut up about it and find someone else. Ward needs to get back in the ring against someone at this point.

Common sense is whats been lacking with most who continue to question Ward with this crap. It's funny to me because Froch seems to be in the same boat, he can fight an old ass Hopkins or a recyled Kessler, not really appealing to me.

                  Completely false.

                  Froch has plenty of options.

What options does Ward have outside of Froch?

He's not In the same boat at all.

It may not be the appealing to you but the difference is fights with Hopkins, a third fight with Kessler, a fight with George Groves, a fight with Nathan Cleverly are all lucrative fights for Froch where he'll make a lot of money.

Ward doesn't have these options outside of Froch.

                      Chavez Jr.

Who's actually a bigger draw than Froch. He's proven he can sell PPV in boxing's largest market. Has proven drawing power in 2 seperate countries. Chavez also has the benefit of not having an embarrassing wide decision loss to THE MAN in question.

Ward would likely make just as much money with Chavez if not more.

Bute & Pavlik aren't bad options either from a financial perspective.
