I cant think of many fights more exciting than Froch v Fake JCC. If you love Froch, this is the fight you want for him. Exposure, a firefight, and money.

Why is Andre "Hometown" Ward Reluctant to Face Froch in the UK?

I wouldn't mind seeing Ward vs. Froch again. Froch has fought his way back into position to fight Ward again. I'm not sure that the outcome is any different though but it's still a good fight.
I also would like to see Ward move up to 175. Ward/Stevenson would be a good matchup. It's time for Ward to move up. Only a fight with Froch is worth staying at 168 imo.
A fight with GGG would be good as well but it isn't a must.

Ward needs to move up or fight a stud from middle, not rematch Froch. You can go on and on about how its a great matchup and they are the 2 best and blah blah but they already fought and Ward clearly won. How many times do you need to hear it?
Who else is Ward going to fight at 168 that would be better?

The only posters giving Ward crap for this seem to be brits/Froch die hards. Thats fine but it reads more like your frustrations for Ward are being channeled thru Froch and not addressing the main point:
For the 100th time, Ward should move up or fight a stud from middle. He owned Froch and 168 and its time to go.

Middleweights? Seriously? So you want the p4p #2 to pick on smaller men? I don't see anybody at 160 beating Froch, nevermind having any success against Ward.
Originally posted by Big Dunn View PostIn this case, ward should go to 175. He proved he is the best 168lber in the world. If he decides to stay at 168, I'd rather see him fight someone other than Froch. Maybe ggg or bute or steigitz
To really push a fighters greatness, they always want to prove themselves, and there's no better way than moving up and testing waters against the bigger men. Ward against the likes of Stevenson and Kovalev would be great, and i'd favour him against both.
But if he's sticking to 168, Froch presents the biggest challenge no matter how decisively he beat him the first time.Last edited by black.ink; 10-18-2013, 12:03 PM.

As a Brit I don't want to see this fight either.
Ward fights just aren't compelling enough as it is. And there are so many more great match ups that could be made for Froch starting with Groves. Then a guy like Chavez Jr, GGG, or even Sakio Bika would all be great fights.
A Ward fight would feel like a bit of a damp squib to me and it is hard to see how it turns out too differently even if Ward did start to get a bit ragged at the end of the first one.
I think I would only really go out of my way to watch Ward vs either Adonis Stevenson or GGG.

These two could fight 100 times and I'd see Ward winning about 95 of them. He's not scared.

I really like Canelo and Robert Guerrero, for example, but I knew both had about a snowballs chance in hell against Mayweather.
Froch is a good, tough, hard-hitting fighter but Ward is just too slick for him.

The only reason people want Ward to fight Froch in the UK is because they know Ward will get robbed, it's pretty sad how desperate they are.
Ward whooped Froch in the 1st fight with a broken hand what makes them think Froch will stand a chance with a healthy Ward?
Ward doesn't throw punches that shock and awe you, snap your head back like what Mayweather does, he doesn't brutalize his opponent, he simply outboxes you from rounds 1-12.
Ward nearly got robbed in his 1st fight with Froch, which didn't even take place in his hometown. With all those screaming Brits going ape shyt at every single punch Froch throws he will win no matter how bad he gets schooled.
