neither of those fights weighed in and there is no way they were that much bigger. The biggest Ive seen Chavez is was 180 and I know that Sergio has been easily bigger than 160. Floyd has fought bigger guys also but 122 is alot. People underestimate Floyds weight so much. I bet he's fought more bigger guys than anyone in the sport but sooner or later you have to stop. Its funny because people will admit that a guy like Trout is a pure boxer while Canelo is power. Then they will say Floyd is a pure boxer but act like styles dont make the fight. He's 22 pounds bigger and its pure power vs a smaller weaker boxer. At some point that will start to matter

Yeah a masterpiece. Canelo vs josestito Lopez, PAC vs margarito, etc were masterpieces too.

I mean, it was Robert ****ing Guerrero man. The guy who went life and death with katsidis, aydin and berto.

You guys love floyd doing his thing cos you're not really interested in competitive fights, you're more interested in exhibitions of his skill. That's fine, that's your thing. But for the rest of us, it sucks.

**** man, I need to get me some gifs from PAC vs margs to put in my sig. Science dont get much sweeter

I don't think anyone gives him a competitive fight, which is why I most likely won't be buying his PPVs. Still, Guerrero vs Bradley, Pacquiao, Marquez would have been credible fights, so don't kill the man for being that skilled.

You dont think Donaire was that much bigger than Rigo? There was a tweet about it, someone posted it on here. And at plain hindsight you could tell Chavez Jr was that much bigger than Martinez. Even the commentators pointed it out. And Chavez Jr really does impose his size on his opponents. Canelo wouldnt be able to use his size or power vs Floyd either way cause he needs to set his feet. This whole weight and size talk is nonsense vs a guy like Canelo who also fights in spurts. Real fighters challenge themselves. If you're scared of losing or getting hurt Gtfo the fight game.

I don;t think Guerrero is competitive against Pacman, Thurman, Canelo or Mathyse. I think they all flatten him.

I see those as competitive, Canelo is a Jr MW so I wouldn't include him.

Why are we matching up Guerrero vs a JMW? But unless Guerrero goes back to boxing all those guys do beat him. I'd give him a slim chance if he boxes but brawling... he'd get murdered.

I am going to give you a triangle story that you might hate. Berto is Victor's left overs. I don't even know if Robert gets past Maidana to be honest with you or Josesito. So for me to think that left handed, flat footed brawler who is slow with his feet and punches survives against Pacman, Thurman and Mathyse is just crazy!

Maidana couldn't even handle Alexander's punches to the body, or when Devon started applying pressure, Guerrero is tons better than Alexander at that, better puncher as well. Too well conditioned for Maidana who has stamina issues as well. Matthysse hasn't fought at 147, so how he handles Guerrero's strength and durability is unknown.
