He thinks those guys are real WW's like himself but his son is a small guy. Ive met him and alot of other WW's in person. Trust me, he's small

sr thinks that because that's his son. floyd could have been 6'2 and he'd still be little floyd.

sr fought leonard in 79. they scrapped same day weigh ins in 83, seeing as Floyd doesn't really seem to put that much weight during the weigh in and fight night, they're about the same size. he's an average sized welter. hearns doesn't even belong in the conversation. he's an aberration. just like paul williams.

also, have you seen ring mag's top ten welterweights? all of them are about the same size as floyd. pac and marquez are the number 2 and 3 welterweights listed. they're actually small.

    ring tv got blacked out.

Floyd is arthouse boxing! He put on a masterful performance and I enjoyed it because of his overall boxing work (defense and offense - or lack of), but yes, it wasn't the best fight ever in terms of Entertainment, and the majority of the demographics are after entertainment.

okay so by that logic Frank Bruno is more skilled than Ali cause his KO ratio is far higher and he "finished" way more of his opponents

hes not being penalised for being too good, he's being RECOGNISED for being too good. and all these guys- guerrero, khan, alexander, mattyse, garcia, are either JWW or have been there for about 18 months. its ok for floyd to cherry pick them but he can't go up to SMW. he can only go to 154 if its a midget 154-er like Cotto. otherwise, it's a no-go zone.

we all know he aint gonna lose. but all we want is a somewhat competitive fight. is that too much to ask for the best fighter of this era?
It trips me out so much when people say that. Its like they say anything to fit there argument. They seriously wont even aknowledge that Floyd himself came from 130 and couldve went even lower if he killed himself to make weight like these other guys do.

They make it sound like WW is his 1st and natural divison, he's huge at the weight, and he's picking on lil guys when the reality is that if you follow his career then you know he's been in 5 divisions, very small in nearly all of them, and has been at a size disadvantage more than nearly everyone in boxing. Probably way more than anyone not named Pac and Im pretty sure he's even over Pac. Thats not even including that these so called small guys from the lower division outweigh him on fight night even right now.

They try to compare the 2 but its not the same at all. Floyd vs Garcia will be around the same on fight night or Garcia will be a lil bigger. Floyd going up 1 division or staying at 154 as people like to say, is a 22 pound difference. How is that the same? Floyd has to go to 5 and is an itch if he doesnt but Canelo cant go up to 1 even though he's bigger than most MW's?

I hear people all the time call a guy like Floyd a coward for not fighting at 154-160 in his 5th & 6th division when he's super small even at WW and will be at a 22+ pound disadvantage but those same people say things like "Trout shouldnt move up because he would get killed by guys like Triple G". The same Trout who has only ever been in 1 divison, is super huge for the weight, and wont be at any size disadvantage against triple G. Everyone is ok with him not wanting to do that and he's not a coward but the other guy is?
