if he put clinics on against canelo, matthyse, pac....fair enough.

but its a joke that he's got people like danny garcia and alexander and khan lined up.

    no-one minds the sweet science.

its against sub-par opposition when it becomes a problem.

honestly, its ****ing shameful people are rocking gifs from the guerrero fight.
Yeah thats what im saying. I been saying it hes been doing this forever now

Again, if the Ghost had fought anyone else for 135-147 everyone wouldve been saying its a great exciting fight, including Pac. If Garcia right now fights anyone its a great exciting fight but if its Floyd then its a cherry pic. Even a ton of Matthysse fans name all these guys from 140-147. They literally name everyone but if its Floyd then its either a cherry pick or he wins because of size even though Floyd is a very small WW and Lucas will be bigger in the ring
STFU 22 pounds bigger hes a champ in the same division. What happened to size don't win fights skill does? "Forced to fight" Give me a break.....

its not hard to master the sweet science when your opposition is sub par. be real, how much did you enjoy the masterful sweet science performance of Margarito v Golden Johnson?

Seriously, how many times has this fat, bald-headed tosspot stressed "how much of a boxing fan" he is/was before going into some tirade about how it's dying/dead and how grown men rubbing their balls on one another's face is the sport of the future? He literally repeats this sh^t all the time when a topic relating to boxing comes up, and he even has the f^gs that watch his product repeating the same thing. These people have never had any real, invested interest in the sport beyond the big name fights. The fact that they're citing the heavyweight division shows how totally out of touch they are with this sport.

And to the fat sack of sh^t who wrote this article: covering a huge, significant sporting event that transcended the actual sport itself doesn't make you a boxing fan. Being a boxing fan is about staying up late at night or early in the morning to catch some crappy stream of a fight taking place in an entirely different continent. It's about spending your spare time downloading and watching foreign fights that weren't/aren't broadcast on the television. It's about certain boxing sites being the very first thing on your mind once you sit down and start browsing the web on your computer/laptop. You wouldn't know anything about that, because you're not a boxing fan.

Joe Rogan said boxing would be dead after DLH and Floyd because all the big superstars would come out of MMA.

          That was 6 years ago.

It reminds me of the joke about the doctor who gave his patient 6 months to live but he couldn't pay his bill so he gave him another 6 months. In 10 years people will be saying the same thing about boxing since it's been said since the days of Dempsey/Marciano/Ali/Leonard/Tyson ect ect..

we all know he aint gonna lose. but all we want is a somewhat competitive fight. is that too much to ask for the best fighter of this era?
Floyds earned his reputation and harsh criticism for being a ducker the last 10 years. He blew the biggest fight in boxing with his crying among others. I'm done with that loser. He might be rich but he'll never be considered courageous and admired like the true greats and he knows it. It has to eat him up inside.

Snoop dogg said something similar, he said the cure for insomnia is watching Floyd fight.

agree with that, Dana whites shtick re boxing got boring a while ago.

disappointed in Tyson though. while I agree with him bout Floyd guerrero, to sit there with this guy who disses on the sport, and be part of the UFC ppv promotion......that sucks. I guess he stopped being a student of boxing a while ago

                  Thats B.S.

The only true diffence between Canelo and his recent opponents are size. You can try to spin it any way you want but if he was a 150 pound figter on fight night then you would be calling him another Floyd cherry pick. He doesnt have exceptional skill. You think he can beat Floyd because he's this big strong monster compared to Floyd. Thats it

His fights are prdictable because he's the main fighter, he's the promoter, he's the matchmaker its all about him not the opposition thats become just another opponent! He's back to cherrypicking like you do when bringing up a kid with some promise. Then once the talents & skills are developed and you become a champion then you fight all the best available! He doesn't do that and his operation is a conflict of interest to the well being of the sport but it suits him fine and his "brown nosed fans' don't know the difference!
i prefer more exciting fellows like GGG and Broner who aren't as polished but are just about ready to make their statements if they can servive being punched in the face more than 8 times!!!!!! hahaha we'll see!

I agree with Michael, the guy is just to boring to be relevant to me!
Paint dry is a compliment! Ray.
agree with this 100%. you got a guy who's the fighter, promoter, match-maker- and all the while, is trying to protect that 0 while cashing in on his retirement fund......does anybody really think this guy is gna deliver good fights?

Margarito/Williams or not, he's a small WW. Ive said it before but I truly believe that his dad thinks prime for prime, he would beat his son. He just looks at him and thinks he's truly "lil Floyd". He thinks he's not SRL, Hearns, etc....

He thinks those guys are real WW's like himself but his son is a small guy. Ive met him and alot of other WW's in person. Trust me, he's small
