Even Tyson agrees MMA is much more exciting to watch.

I don't think there is an opponent out there for Floyd worth paying for, maybe Matthysse if Lucas continues to win, simply because of his conditioning, durability, mental strength and relentlessness, Canelo gets schooled. Canelo fights in spurts, I'm not sure if Matthysse can handle the movement but we'll see.
You're right. Idk if you do but people still pay for it. The Canelo fight isn't gonna be worth the 70 bucks cause I predict a one sided beating. But I don't like neither guy (Canelo even less) so I'll get to see one lose. And well, at least Floyd would be challenging himself going up in weight again and beating a young guy.

The fight wasn't really bad, it's just Mayweather whipped Guerreros ass and it was a done deal after a few rds. Only thing I wanted to see was if he could ko him.

Sometimes it could be but this weekend was a damn joke of a PPV. Cain vs Big Foot and JDS vs Hunt, really? Who didn't predict the outcome of those fights.

If the sports biggest star wasn't so scared to get beat and actually took on the best opponents people wouldn't be able to criticize it so much. To be honest Mayweather is the problem right now and in the last 5 years.

Floyd is a great boxer but that fight was very very boring, i dont think Floyd will make big sells in his next fight unless he fights Canelo

It's utterly hilarious that these MMGAY lot are still parroting these same silly cliches in 2013. I mean, this sh^t was fairly common about six or seven years ago, when the UFC was actually a growing product and on the rise. But now, when that lame product has clearly stagnated? They're still repeating this garbage?

Seriously, how many times has this fat, bald-headed tosspot stressed "how much of a boxing fan" he is/was before going into some tirade about how it's dying/dead and how grown men rubbing their balls on one another's face is the sport of the future? He literally repeats this sh^t all the time when a topic relating to boxing comes up, and he even has the f^gs that watch his product repeating the same thing. These people have never had any real, invested interest in the sport beyond the big name fights. The fact that they're citing the heavyweight division shows how totally out of touch they are with this sport.

And to the fat sack of sh^t who wrote this article: covering a huge, significant sporting event that transcended the actual sport itself doesn't make you a boxing fan. Being a boxing fan is about staying up late at night or early in the morning to catch some crappy stream of a fight taking place in an entirely different continent. It's about spending your spare time downloading and watching foreign fights that weren't/aren't broadcast on the television. It's about certain boxing sites being the very first thing on your mind once you sit down and start browsing the web on your computer/laptop. You wouldn't know anything about that, because you're not a boxing fan.

no doubt floyd is a genius in the ring. but its absolutely crazy people actually pay $70 to watch his ass fight, when we get so many other fights for free.
I know its sickening that's always been that whole camps mentality. And in sick of everyone saying how floyds a genius or he mastered the sweet science. Yeah he looks great against sub par opponents but we don't know what he looks like against top opponents. Cotto was good but he had already been obliterated by margarito and Pacqiou.

Yeah Tyson is right that fight was ass. I think Mayweather's star power is wearing off, nobody wants to pay $70 for a sparring session
