Can't believe people pay 70 bucks either. Call me when Floyd fights Canelo and I'll pay the 70 bucks. Altho I think Floyd will school the ginger, Guerrero style.

if he put clinics on against canelo, matthyse, pac....fair enough.

but its a joke that he's got people like danny garcia and alexander and khan lined up.

      no-one minds the sweet science.

its against sub-par opposition when it becomes a problem.

honestly, its ****ing shameful people are rocking gifs from the guerrero fight.
its not subpar opposition. Again, you are penalyzing him for being too good. Its like you saying that this is the guys who are youre size but you are soooo good that none of them can touch you so you are forced to fight guys who are 22+ pounds bigger for it to be a fair fight and you dont get no extra credit for it.

Again, if the Ghost had fought anyone else for 135-147 everyone wouldve been saying its a great exciting fight, including Pac. If Garcia right now fights anyone its a great exciting fight but if its Floyd then its a cherry pic. Even a ton of Matthysse fans name all these guys from 140-147. They literally name everyone but if its Floyd then its either a cherry pick or he wins because of size even though Floyd is a very small WW and Lucas will be bigger in the ring

I don't think there is an opponent out there for Floyd worth paying for, maybe Matthysse if Lucas continues to win, simply because of his conditioning, durability, mental strength and relentlessness, Canelo gets schooled. Canelo fights in spurts, I'm not sure if Matthysse can handle the movement but we'll see.

floyd's not a small welterweight. i think people need to stop saying this. especially when there aren't any margarito's and paull williams around. he's standard size.

Horrible article, Boxing has been tearing it up this year with great fight after great fight. The UFC has had a bunch of mismatches and freak shows, the article is only preaching to the choir of people that already don't watch boxing but none of that is accurate.

BTW Pacquiao vs. Marquez 4 was probably the best big fight PPV that delivered since DLH vs. Vargas.

how does a $32m guarantee sound as extra credit goes?

hes not being penalised for being too good, he's being RECOGNISED for being too good. and all these guys- guerrero, khan, alexander, mattyse, garcia, are either JWW or have been there for about 18 months. its ok for floyd to cherry pick them but he can't go up to SMW. he can only go to 154 if its a midget 154-er like Cotto. otherwise, it's a no-go zone.

we all know he aint gonna lose. but all we want is a somewhat competitive fight. is that too much to ask for the best fighter of this era?

A Chess match has more action than a Floyd Mayweather fight so I suppose Mike Tyson is correct

Floyd has plenty of talent and knows how to use it the problem is that "he likes to sing it.........but he just don't bring it"! The great fighters almost always brought the fight to their opponents AND they fought the best opponents in their era! His fights are prdictable because he's the main fighter, he's the promoter, he's the matchmaker its all about him not the opposition thats become just another opponent! He's back to cherrypicking like you do when bringing up a kid with some promise. Then once the talents & skills are developed and you become a champion then you fight all the best available! He doesn't do that and his operation is a conflict of interest to the well being of the sport but it suits him fine and his "brown nosed fans' don't know the difference!
i prefer more exciting fellows like GGG and Broner who aren't as polished but are just about ready to make their statements if they can servive being punched in the face more than 8 times!!!!!! hahaha we'll see!

I agree with Michael, the guy is just to boring to be relevant to me!
Paint dry is a compliment! Ray.

He appreciates Jack Johnson, I'm sure he appreciates Floyd Mayweather too.

Saying he is boring doesn't mean you can't tell what level he's on.
