let HBO announcers and bert sugar tell it..this is mayweathers biggest test then they flip flop in anger after he winsRigondeaux went into the fight as a big underdog with a lot of people expecting him to lose. Had he lost he would have been written off as a nobody but the win has elevated him where he is considered one of the very top boxers skill wise. I don't think Mayweather has ever entered a fight with those type of circumstances. Career wise I don't think anything on Mayweather's resume was as important.Comment

Today's boxing fan is clueless about the sport. They so badly want to find a category that they can pick someone over Floyd in. They say Flyd always wins the fantasy fights, but he loses them too. And when you see the same ole posters/rejects criticizing Floyd...probably to get a rise out of his fans more than anything posting about Floyd's greatness, Floyd was never great. That's ok. Floyd has more fans who appreciate him now than ever before. Dlh left Arum, and became big, and Floyd has done the same. KarmaComment

Oscar was as an important win for Money in terms of what it did for his career, that is, increase relevance. However if Mayweather would have lost to DLH it wouldn't have had thrown him into obscurity like a loss for Rigo vs DonaireComment

well cotto said himself he didnt truly pursue a fight with FMW. And thelikelyhood of that fight being made in 08 is slim.. TR vs GB but your a idiot anyway!
and the only top welter to face paul was Margarito not cotto..Comment

Nope, Corrales is Floyd's greatest win, but Donaire was TOP 5 P4P fighter, undefeated for 10 years and was (and still is) considered as one of the most dangerous fighters in the game. Rigo totally outclassed him and that was his 12 fight as a pro...
Floyd is not even close
