It's justifying for mayweather fans to outgun a small marquez, overall speed, size, age, skills! But they're running scared cause canelo is heavier! He's not better, younger yes! Not as experienced! I personally don't think canelo is ready for mayweather! But I don't see how the mayweather fans are justifying the fight not being made over weight! Mayweather is a 54 champ.. Claims to fight the best.. But all he really fight is flatfooted fighters with no head movement.. That's the only reason why cotto got to him.. Actual good foot work! And the only reason he won't fight manny, head and foot movement.. Straight rights won't pull him easily thru those type of fighters.. My guess is Kahn! Unless they somehow fool people into making them think Garcia or mathysse are viable opponents! This guys has always ducked decent opposition! And he will do it again! ONLY BECAUSE HIS MONEY IS guaranteed!

So your saying Lucas isn't a good opponent? Lucas is WAY better than Canelo hands down! The only thing Canelo has over Lucas is way more weight! Once Canelo consistently fights dudes in his division who actually fight in that division not just moving up...

He is gonna get whooped... The excitement about Canelo is he is Mexican with red hair! Marquez, Morales, Chavez jr, Barrea, I respect. But Canelo is acting like he is the cash cow but he is yet to headline is own PPV!

If you use his age as an excuse to why he hasn't yet than that means he needs to stay in his lane then and not call shots until he gets there!

From what I saw of Canelo in his last fight, he could come in at 190lbs and Floyd would still toy with him.

For anyone to beat Floyd they require an exceptional attribute that might open a door for them against him. For one they will need lots of speed, toughness and relentlessness. Canelo does not have it all. He is a B level fighter. He is a good fighter, but you need at least an A level fighter to even make it interesting against him. Frankly, there are no A level fighters out there to challenge Floyd right now in or around his weight class.

Devon Alexander might be able to annoy him enough to steal a few rounds.

Floyd wins fights period no matter how he wins. When you attack Floyd, he attacks you back. Floyd is always in supreme condition. Floyd will be Floyd. Canelo won't be Canelo. Canelo will be shorter than Floyd, and easy to hit. Canelo's only positive over Floyd is weight.

The weight is the only thing! They put a stipulation on that Game Over!

I can understand why Floyd doesn't want to fight Canelo at 154 because he would be over 165+ fight night

But there no excuse to not fight Matthysse if you claim to be the best

If the fight is at 154, Floyd will get credit from real boxing fans. If it is anything less than 154, and Floyd wins, Floyd will still consider Canelo undefeated just like he said Cotto was undefeated, right?

Floyd unless he ages overnight should be able to beat Mathysee and Canelo by about 116-112, Mathysee by a slightly wider margin. Both guys have the power to stun or drop Mayweather but his composure would put him back on course fast.
