Especially on September 14th going up against Marquez vs Bradley. Canelo calls the shots because Mayweather has no more big names to fight against that would be entertaining to watch.
Off the subject, I think Floyd would easily beat Pacquiao but on points, not by knockout.
When Floyd had big names to fight he didn't so whats the difference???

I have no problem with the fight happening at 154...I do have a problem with a young kid having one legit fight at 154 and thinking he doesn't have to bend if asked to. I also have an issue with with 171 on fight against a guy who makes guest appearances at 154. He won a title there...doesn't mean he campaigns there. Did you expect RJJ to fight Lennox?
LOL Yeah thats the same thing

No rehydration clause that I know of. It'd be silly to set it at 15lbs anyway.

There's no bending, the guy is Ring champ who cannot make 147 or 150 even. Where else is he supposed to fight? If he wants to move up, by all means, but he just won the real title. 172 is not that crazy at SWW, hell Trout was 171. I bet Angulo, Kirkland, Andrade are in the neighborhood. There's welters that put that much or more: Ortiz, Marg, Clottey. Bradley was just 160 fight night etc.

What would you say if Floyd said "at my age, I don't want to fight at a weight I'm not my best at so I'm dropping the 154 title?" Would you respect that or consider it a duck?

What I'm implying is...did anybody really expect RJJ to fight the best HW in the division or was it ok that it was a match up a little more favorable to him...or was he ducking the top guys?

These guys pick who their going to risk it all for when moving up...Floyd did it for Oscar, Shane did it for Oscar etc...

I agree with it being at 154 but like I said...Nelo needs to STFU because he's the chasing a guy who may hold a title but size wise doesn't need to be there especially when he'll be facing a light HW come fight night.

And to piggy back off all the other names you mentioned...how did you feel about Broner at 130/135 size wise? Fair or cmon dude, move up and fight ppl your size?

So you need to outweigh lil Floyd by 20 pounds on fight night. Got it. So that fights off.

Everybody knew Jones was a paper champ at HW. He was never the top ranked guy in the division, nor did he sit on that belt. It was a vanity belt for him. It'd be like Floyd snatching a belt of Stieglitz or something, not fighting a fellow champ in his 5th division, where he's 2x champ and #1.

You saw how much smaller JMM looked vs Floyd. If JMM can fight top guys at welter, his 5th division, why can't the bigger, younger, faster, more talented Floyd fight 1 division up from JMM, his 5th? A shot Mosley, Ndou,, Josesito had no fear of getting hurt by Canelo at 154. Neither does Matthysse, he just said it

As long as he can make weight, no issues with Broner staying down at 135. Obviously he can't make 130. The problem is, he can't get name opponents or get p4p points there. Or rather, in sane p4p rankings he's nowhere near the top 10 without smoking many top 10 LWs, and he's not getting 1m+ purses either. I don't think anyone can touch him at 135 (maybe Gamboa, doubtful), but 140+ is a different ballgame.

My Prince is on another level compare to Canelo. He will take the fight, he's just showing Canelo who's the boss right now. Calm the Hell Down.
