Canelo came in at the same weight as Trout. Idk where the weight advantage was there.

The kid has nearly as many fights as Mayweather but hasn't really fought anyone. Shane is the biggest name on his resume and he beat him after Floyd and Manny dominated him. Trout was a good win but nothing impressive.

This kid will get hated - even by Mexicans. Marquez doesn't even like him. I expect El Terrible and the Baby Faced Assassin to (verbally) jump on him too...

This dude is arguably the biggest star in boxing all nations combined at the moment, i'm sorry yes I know he's not a ppv star but in terms of discussion, in terms of average joe's, in terms of women who like boxing knowing who's who in boxing..Canelo is the man. Mayweather is a huge American star with some gloss overseas unfortunately for him his brash personality doesn't bode well to open up more markets..this kid's looks alone have taken him to a position only one other boxer has seen and that was DLH. When you win the womens support it's a wrap. Canelo could stop boxing right now and have a nice long luxurious career as a television personality.

When 2 guys come together because its time then yeah, compromises are made but you don't call the man out then tell the man where he has to fight! Put all your Floyd hatred aside and really ask yourself...is that really what the man has to do?

And I will repeat it again...I WANT FLOYD TO FIGHT HIM AT 154 but I also understand that nobody calls the shots when negotiating with Floyd and they shouldn't...Pac (a few years ago) was the only fighter that I thought should have a lot of say so in negotiations.

When you have 2 champs at 154, fighting at 154 is not a demand, it's automatic. You negotiate the purse split, red/blue corner, who comes out first, drug testing, whatever. But not the weight limit, then it's not champ vs champ but champ vs paper champ.

All nations? Seriously? Just because YOU don't like Floyd Mayweather personally it doesn't mean that he can't market himself out of USA. I'm sitting in Denmark - a small country (also boxing-wise) across the Atlantic with 5.5 million inhabitants and Mayweather is mentioned in the media everytime he has a main event. Canelo's name didn't even headline after his wins against Mosley and Trout. Mayweather has a pretty huge fanbase in the UK too. "Some gloss overseas" doesn't cut it. He IS the biggest name in boxing.

                You just described Pacman!!

Once you start calling out a guy, especially "THE MAN"...it's not automatic especially when his comfortable weight is 147. We all know that Floyd would be doing him a favor not only by fighting him but by making it at 154. The part I'm not understanding is Nelo standing firm with a guy who never called him out. He just said he's not moving for Sergio, GGG and not Floyd but everybody else gets crucified for the same stance?! TF!!

What's the difference between Broner making 130/135 but looking huge against his opponent and ppl saying he gets no credit because he's too big...and Nelo weighing 171 on fight night against a guy whose not a true 154lbr?

Once again...I WANT FLOYD TO FIGHT HIM AT 154 but I could see why it wouldn't especially with Nelo thinking he can call shots! He's fought 0ne true 154lbr right but if Floyd fights a 140lbr its a cherry pick?

                    My Prince schools this loser.

Prince haven't lost a round since Castillo I. It's laughable how all you idiots think Canelo is a somebody. He's a nobody. Prince calls the shots..

I don't see it, Pac never asked a fellow champ for a CW, he was moving up each time.

Since Floyd is current WBA Super JMW champ and #1 contender, you'd think he'd be fine with the weight. That's what being a divisional champ entails, that he can hang with the rest at the weight.
