Mayweather is an "elite" fighter, while Ghost simply isn't. Matthysse and Garcia are not elite fighters either, they are of a similar caliber imho.

I think the winner of Lucas-Garcia can establish themselves as elite though.

I mean Garcia would have wins over Morales, Khan, Judah, and Lucas. Not bad.

Or Lucas would have an arguable win over Judah, and wins/should have been wins over Alexander, Peterson, Ajose, and Garcia.

but i do not see a way he beats lucas. i think danny is FAR from a bum, and he will make it a tough night for lucas, but lucas' power is too strong for anyone at those weight i feel

The better question is, How will Garcia be seen if he wins against all odds? He continues to win even when "fans of boxing call him a bum". Where will a win put Garcia" I think he has better odds that most around here think!

Garcia is a good fighter, make no mistake about it. He does a lot of everything pretty good or real well, but he can't fight backing up. He has boxing technique but not nearly enough to out box Lucas for even more than 1-2 rounds, let alone a full 12.

Danny will try to counter off Lucas early, get into a fire fight probably 2-3 rounds in, and get KO'd. And if Danny starts backing up, which he can't fight while doing so, he's done even worse probably.

But make no mistake, Danny Garcia has a few solid wins and is a good fighter.
