Garcia's a brawler. He wants to stand and trade. Anyone standing and trading with Matthysse is getting wrecked horribly.

I think Garcia has some boxing ability, but in his heart of hearts, he's a ****er with confidence in his power. I think it'll be worse for Garcia if he fights on his back-foot cuz that's the invitation that LM is looking for. Once you give him too much respect, you'll find yourself not being able to get away from Matts.

Garcia is garbage and has dined out on that Khan win for too long- his 15 mins of fame is almost up. He looked like a big poof last night. Mattysse BBQ's iguana, he doesn't need any fancy glasses.
Rewatch Lucas Vs Alexander, his boxing skills are hugely under rated. Just because he swings & misses sometimes people think he can't box...when the misses are simply a product of his massive power.

In order to beat someone like Mathysse, you have to fight like Floyd did against Corrales or bully him like Holyfield did to Tyson.

Garcia is capable of doing neither. He's gonna get cooked like chicken. Stick a fork in 'em coach cause he's done.

Garcia does not have better defense and his punches are no where near as sharp as Matthysse's. There's no question Matthysse is more durable, Matthysse was never glassy-eyed and retreating after getting hit by Judah. Morales buzzed Garcia too.

Garcia has much better defense and countering ability. Don't forget that a couple fights ago Soto put hands on Lucas in combination. If he had more power, Lucas wouldn't have looked as good as he did. Don't act like Danny didn't place a 1 shot counterpunch on Judah and put him on his a$$.

I've never seen anyone have a hard time landing on Garcia. Every fight I've ever seen he gets hit a lot, far more than Matthysse does. Matthysse catches punches, rolls them, ducks them, considering he's always moving forward he does not get hit that much. Certainly not as much as Garcia.

And Matthysse's straight right, his best punch, doesn't loop at all. It's fast, it's sharp, and it's accurate.
