Lucas throws with great technique and isn't a crude fighter who can just punch, he can box.
The fact that he's fought guys like Ajose/Soto/Judah/Alexander/Dallas has probably done wonders for his ring IQ and confidence. That makes him far more dangerous than the average pressure fighter cuz he's had to fight guys with more experience or better attributes.

Garcia is still a ferocious puncher. When Matthysse throws those rights to the body he might be vulnerable to the wicked left from Garcia.

Garcia does not have better defense and his punches are no where near as sharp as Matthysse's. There's no question Matthysse is more durable, Matthysse was never glassy-eyed and retreating after getting hit by Judah. Morales buzzed Garcia too.

Yup, but Matts likes to follow the straight right to the body with a left hook up top and Garcia will be open for it.

But Dannys power is not to be slept on. One thing I noticed is Lucas over extending on his punches which could lead to Danny landing some good hooks. Lets not forget chins, Dannys chin is lightyears better than Petersons, Danny wont get knocked down by grazing shots.

I agree, Garcia isn't very swift and open to get hit... don't think Garcia can take those bombs

                Bottom line:

Garcia's a brawler. He wants to stand and trade. Anyone standing and trading with Matthysse is getting wrecked horribly.

What big punchers has Garcia faced to prove he has a better chin than Peterston let alone "lightyears" better.

                      Never hook with a hooker
