Don't kid yourself.
If it's affecting the outcome of a fight then he won't stay there long anyway e.g. Chad Dawson.

Telling the likes of Canelo and Matthysse to move out of divisions where they're constantly winning and making good money doesn't make any sense for their career.

If cutting weight was affecting their ability in the ring you'd have a point, but it isn't, so you don't.

I don't know how he'd do. It's clear however he's not moving up for anyone but Mayweather and I'd say that's probably for good reason.

If he's not 100% then he's in for a painful night. Peterson is a beast.

Mtthysse could easily beat GBP's welterweights besides Mayweather don't ya think?

I'd pick him against Alexander, Malignaggi, Maidana, Lopez. Not certain on Thurman, Guerrero or Ortiz. We'd really need to see him there.

Looks worst i've ever seen him...

Might have overtrained looks like he's been running too much...

but 140? he normally comes in at 138 looking less skinny.

Still should be able to do a job on PEDerson... but them PEDS could make the difference if Lucas ain't feeling 100percent.

He doesn't look great but it's hard to know for sure. He's been at the weight his whole career so it'd be a bit of a disaster for them to get it wrong now.

A fighter who struggled to make weight, going up against a proficient body puncher? Someone might just get stopped.

He is one of my favorites but he needs to be near his best because Peterson is a very good fighter who is getting better all the time. I am rooting for Lucas but I like Peterson as well. It should be a great fight.

Look at everyone making excuses for him before the fight. Matthysse is a very good fighter, not the second coming of christ like he is made out to be, but very good. Peterson is very good too, this is an excellent fight.

Terrible prep my ass, if he wasn't ready he could pull out.
