Im almost sure canelo and camp will refuse it because they want to do the chavez jr dance.
Let them kill the fight and just move the **** on!!!
Man you can be sure, if the fight comes along with the 154 lbs and the rehydration going up as far as 160 lbs, and Team cinnamon doesn´t take the fight because that rehydration clause, I´ll be the first one to rip Canelo apart.

Because even at 160 lbs I can see Canelo more powerful than Floyd.

It's funny that when its negative its 100% true but when it's positive it's a 100% lie

I don't take any of their words as gospel but I'd say Shaefer would have more of an idea what's actually going on behind the scenes in negotiations than anyone else.

        Lets wait and see.

It would be fair if, and only if, Wladimir Klitschko accepts to fight Floyd at the catch weight of 220 lbs.

I wouldn't be satisfied with a rehydration clause. That is unnecessarily handicapping one fighter, and that taints a potential win. If it comes to that, I'd rather he just not fight Canelo at all.

this is boxing not chess, why would anyone need to get played? especially about a fight this big.

WTF is Schafer talking about? If there was no weight issue, Floyd would of signed a contract to fight him a week ago because aside from Canelo being a lot bigger than Floyd is.. his skill level, boxing IQ, and stamina are not even in the same league as Floyd, but If he's consistently coming into the ring at 170+ pounds then it's not worth the risk for Floyd to move up, it's as simple as that. People need to realize the only reason Floyd ever fought at 154 in the 1st place is cuz he was desperate and hungry for a payday vs Oscar.. (Cotto not a real MW)If Canelo was a WW like Floyd they wouldn't even bring his name up as a serious opponent for Floyd...

Lol. The trolls in the other thread avoiding this one like the plague. This thread won't reach neat 1,000 responses like the other one. I'm starting to think people would rather the fight not happen so they can troll and call Floyd a duck.

Anyways I think there is truth to all of the stories that are coming out. It's in the early stages of negotiations and stuff shouldn't be leaking to the press. If team Canelo kept their mouth shut and stayed professional none of this BS would be going on.
