No, it would be the same result a close fight, against Pac, Marquez wouldn't be the aggressor he would go back trying to counter and time Pac coming in.

I'm uncertain whether he'd have the same speed and durability to deal with Pacquiao in that condition. He just wasn't in top condition for the Mayweather fight because it was his first trip up to 147 and he didn't gain the weight in the most beneficial manner.

Neither Pac or Marquez had/have the style to trouble Floyd, and second... Pac was never going to ko Marquez. Marquez has one of the best chins in boxing history imo. He is in line with many of the greats who have been hit, and not gone down, been down and gotten back up, and shown resiliency...something that can't be taught.

Why do people still make threads like this?? PAC/Marquez is a dead subject, PAC got ko'd so until they fight each other again this is a dead subject. Good post, that's pretty much what I'm wondering - Marquez just wasn't in good condition for the Mayweather fight, I'd venture to say that a lot of less-talented fighters would have beaten him on that particular night because he was so poorly conditioned.

This right here, PAC wasn't able to ko Marquez in the lower weight when PAC was a lot younger, faster and hungrier so what makes some of u guys think he could have ko Marquez the version when Marquez fought Floyd? It's not the condition it's the style match up and this is coming from a PAC fan.

I think some of u is taking the ko loss a lot harder than some lol. PAC has done way more than Marquez will ever accomplish so the ko lost is nothing to lose sleep over and look at it this way, PAC got ko not just from any one but by Marquez. A very good technical fighter who had 4 chances to stop manny so it's not like manny just got dominated by some chump.
