I also find it funny how u pointed out that manny couldn't finish Marquez after putting him down 3 times then when I said Floyd couldn't finish Marquez either u come back and ignored that and starts rambling on about how if Floyd beats a mw I still wouldn't give him his respect. Um I never mention anything about Floyd fighting mw I'm only addressing the comment made about how Floyd is better than manny. How do u figure that, they fought already?
Pacquiao would KO the poorly-conditioned version of Marquez that faced Mayweather?

haven't even mentioned ped's in this thread, you're desperately trying to steer this convo another direction because you dont know how to come back
marquez was fat and and lacking in functional muscle vs floyd, and he clearly was alot more prepared vs pacquiao, and only tools argue otherwise here
floyd owning marquez regardless of how he well he puts on the muscle is besides the point
point is, even without ped's, with proper strenght and conditioning and a scientific regime and diet > drinking piss and flinging stonesComment

Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez = some of my favorite fighters. Didnt try to discredit anyone, just brought up a legitimate observation on the condition of Marquez for the Mayweather fight.I'd like to take this thread seriously, but based on what I've seen from the thread starter in the past, its clearly a pathetic attempt to discredit Mayweather. Not saying that he should get a great deal of credit for that win all considered, but this is nothing more than hating spam.Comment

Marquez never stopped trying in the Mayweather fight. It's actually a shame and a bit disrespectful to Marquez to act like he didn't try to get in shape for the fight. Marquez is always a proComment

I didn't accuse him of not trying to get into shape - just the fact that he went about it the wrong way. If you remember the 24/7 he was doing urine therapy (drinking his own urine) and eating 20 raw eggs every morning - these techniques are somewhat based on pseudoscience.
Marquez didn't have a dedicated strength and conditioning trainer until very recently - but it would have helped him immensely when he was moving up two weight divisions to fight Mayweather, he'd have been in far better condition.Comment

So 4 minutes of 24/7 training footage equals his whole camp?I didn't accuse him of not trying to get into shape - just the fact that he went about it the wrong way. I just love how people like to make excuses for a fighter, that the fighter themself don't even make.Comment

Well Manny had 4 cracks to stop JMM and never got the job done, including the time when he dropped him three times in the first round and busted his nose bad so that was JMM in tip top shape at that point of that fight~ nor has anyone else for that matter.
So no until proven otherwise JMM is not getting taken out by anyone.Comment

So you're throwing aside the training footage, the weigh-in footage, his bloated appearance in the fight, and you're proposing that Marquez was in great condition for the Mayweather fight?Comment

Exactly Manny had 2 tries to stop Marquez even before Memo came along and Manny couldn't get the job done. Marquez' resiliency is being underrated here. Based on our evidence the answer is NOWell Manny had 4 cracks to stop JMM and never got the job done, including the time when he dropped him three times in the first round and busted his nose bad so that was JMM in tip top shape at that point of that fight~ nor has anyone else for that matter.
