It's ****** to be talking about this with the weight difference, it's like if david haye said he would beat some 150ish pound mma fighter in mma.

Dudes on this forum are funny. He would not beat Floyd. He will miss, miss and miss some more of his shots.

That being said an most bar fights don't get down to the ground, and involve people who are physically unfit. From my experiences its only the people who aren't trained to fight who refuse the opportunity of settling a dispute without violence.

It's also ****** to say ''In a bar fight you can't say no take downs'', then overlook the fact that what he is doing wouldn't account for another individual kicking him as he goes for the take down, get stabbed, glassed, bit etc.
To be fair, MMA was essentially martial artists fighting with no rules at its inception. It's just been turned into a mainstream sport with rules and regulations. Boxers can't handle MMA fighters in MMA and vice versa. Two completely different sports. I'd say MMA's more useful in the majority of street fights but if you're the first one to swing, a boxing background is certainly what you'd want.

Im not convinced he would beat floyd in a boxing match. Hes big and used to taking shots, so I think he could take floyds punches. But many guys floyds fought can take his shots, that doesnt mean you automatically win. Could he actually land big shots to hurt/stop floyd?

Shaq fought DLH and Mosley and still didnt knock them out.

I actually think floyd would bust him up pretty good the outside.

This, I think he could take floyds shots but its not like its going to feel good getting busted up in the nose repeatedly. He aint conditioned for no 10 to 12 rounds either. He wont know how to use his size effectively, if they get in a clinch he can hit floyd in there but how much power is he going to have in that close when his holding and hitting. And then on the outside his shots will be so wide and telegraphed he will miss and be countered.

              Yeah with minimal boxing talent.

Um so how is he supposed to win again?

Shaq isn't a trained fighter, DLH was wearing head gear ( not sure about Mosley). And it was more of an exhibition, I doubt he entered the ring with ****ing De La Hoya up. If he did he would have tried man handling him as opposed to 'boxing' him.

Jones has terrible hands. Even FOR MMA. His MMA boxing is a joke, let alone his boxing boxing.

Dude is slow and telegraphs his punches. On the inside without his clinch knees or takedowns he'd have no idea what to do and would get destroyed.

As for the weight difference and Floyd not having enough power: the punches you don't see hurt. He won't see Floyd punches and he won't land on him either.

He'd be just as hopeless if he fought Robert Guerrero. This is a bad joke and the dude is delusional for thinking he has a chance.
