you think you could get Winky Wright to wear Cleto Reyes instead of that big ass Grant gloves? Hello no. His defense would get penetrated wit ease becuz GLOVES ARE DIFFERENT from one another. In Wright's case, those big ass gloves protect his face more.

      Uh Oh, looks who's back!
I always heard that erik wore those golves cause his hands have a tendacy to get injured easily.
Lol, I still think if he wore the 'punchers' glove, manny wouldnt make it to the final bell.

dont matter mentality wise bud...of course theres a little more padding on one brand than the other, which is why they offer more protection to the fighters hands than the other. The thread starter posted that the gloves mattered on a MENTAL level...had shaken mannys confidence, etc. But, then again, a guy that lets the tightness of his socks affect his performance might lose confidence because of his gloves...now, you just got pawned!

Gloves don't make a difference. Floyd's last couple of fights have all been stoppages. He wears Winning gloves.

As far as not knowing about what type of gloves that were going to be used in the first fight, I have this to say to that. If it's written in the contract, and you choose to sign an unread contract then you are a DUMB ASS!

                Morales by death

The gloves do matter, they determine how hard the impact we'll be on the other guy and the amount of force that has to be released in order to knock-out the opponent, so.. if i were to spar you wearing 12oz and you wearing 16oz it wouldn't matter right? the type of gloves do make a difference.

First off, I'm not Mexican in response to your amigo joke. Morales is in Pacquiao's head. Did you see how he dominated him the first time? He was mocking Pacquiao's movement and basically showing him that it was nothing he could do to turn the fight around. He's in Pacquiao head and you will see that this weekend.

People make a big deal about the Winning gloves stopping Pacquiao from winning the first fight. Bull****! It was Morales jab tagging Pacquiao's fat head. What is Pacquiao only a puncher when he has Cleto-Reyes gloves on? This time they will be wearing the gloves of Pacquiao's choice. Hopefully Pacquiao's chin holds up to the difference in impact when Erik mobs him again.

Who cares if you're a mexican or not? The fact that I used the word amigo doesn't mean I'm saying you're a Mexican. If you don't like amigo then I'll call you a ****head.

You didn't answer my question. When was the last time Eric knock down any opponent? As I said STOP DREAMING!

Pacquaio only a puncher when he is using a Reyes gloves? Of course not, but the result is obvious. Those "pillow gloves" favored Eric than Pacman. Eric fought Barrera 3 times. 3 times! Did he ever put Barrera down in the canvas? Pacquaio fought Barrera just 1 time and he put Barrera down 3 times.

The jabs? Of course it's normal that Eric tags Pacquaio with his jabs because he has a MUCH longer reach but it is on record that Pacman lead in the power punches thrown. Are you implying that Eric will knock out Pacman by his jab? You are hillarious. And don't you ever consider the posibilty that it could have been a different results if those power punches thrown by Pac is with a Reyes gloves? If you don't then you ****i'n illogical and irrational.

I'm not arguing the results. Eric won that fight period. What I'm just saying is that gloves is an issue and a big factor.

I can assure you that Pacquaio's chin will hold up this coming Saturday. The question is can Eric's chin hold up?

Just wait and see how Eric is gonna run away from Pacman this time after feeling Pacmans knuckles wrap in Reyes gloves.

Type and size are two completely different things. You're post doesn't make sense.
