The gloves issue, just how big is it?

Ya know, people have been talking about whether or not the gloves made a big deal in the fight between Manny-Morales 1. Whether or not that it'self was true, it really another story. What some people might fail to realize is that Manny got this notice that he had to wear these gloves that he's never wore in any of his previous fights or in training before with only a week's notice. That alone can be a confidence killer and big issue when your so used to using something for years and all of a sudden you have to use something your not accustomed to. I think it definitely could have been more of a mentality issue than a physical issue(even though the winning are technically padded so less of an impact). I think people just talking about whether or not Manny could do better and more damage with his Reyes gloves comes down to being more comfortable and confident wearing his gloves. It's like, your having a bicycle race with training wheels on, then at the last minute your buddy tells you, no training wheels, good luck!

It is a big issue buddy. Well you mentioned confidence, yes. And aside from that, the very physical effect of the punches. Of course the thickness of the padding affects the impact and effect of the punches.

Well lets just see how the Reyes gloves will work for Pacman this Saturday.
