I asked Mares if he thought this would be a good time to take a tune up fight or a fight that would be perceived as easier. Mares immediately turned the conversation to his undefeated rival WBC/WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux who scored a big upset when he defeated Nonito Donaire last month. did you mean to say that he feels stronger at 126?

Donaire isnt better, thats why he ducked him and turned down 3 million dollars. Donaire is one dimensional. he only relies on one shot in every singe one of his fights. He even admits it himself that he just looks for one shot and hes a sore loser. he was so butthurt that Rigo exposed him and he was crying for like four days in denial of his loss.

I wonder sometimes what would happen if one of the cash cow type GBP fighters demanded a fight with a TR fighter. I do know this fight needs to be made. It would be great for the sport.

well , when talking about doniare and mares , they have one coommon opponet in which mares got away with a split decision ( i thought he losttbh) to where nonito knocked him the **** out.. so there's really nothing that can be proven that mares is better than donaire , nothing at all ....

In 13 fights, Rigo could beat two top 10 P4P fighters. And rest assured, he would beat Mares.
