Why do so many people still buy PPV fights? It's 2013, not 1993

yea...it's not really just a matter of $70...i'm already paying like $150/mo...add $70 plus the taxes on top of that and i'm basically adding another $100 to my bill

People still buy albums??? Really? Y? I still buy PPVs because the quality is better, but what's so different about an album that's paid for versus an album that's downloaded for free?

I buy all cause i want a big screen with HD but this floyd fight i finally heard from friends that they steamed it for the first time and will go that route from now on. I guess its becoming that.

I'm not going into the whole "how much did the Mayweather PPV sell thing".

But just about everybody I know that buys fights, bought it.

My sister called me at around 6:30 asking if I was going to go over there to watch it. (She loves Floyd and Manny. She is a weirdo, though.)

          Can't make it, sis. Sick.

Best quality (HD), no chance of interruption, no lag. Pretty much a must have when you have guests.

Anyone have an explanation for this?

Streams are cool but there is nothing like a big fight party with the big screen on drinking a cold one with your friends and watching a great boxing match.

Beats sitting in front of a computer with slow streams that look like crap, stop and pause, with buffering problems.

                  Haha that's me.

Got the official RBR thread open to refresh as soon as the round is over.
