I won't compare Wladimir to Floyd because Wladimir didn't cherry pick throughout his entire career and Wladimir destroyed Brewster in the rematch.
A lot of people (myself included) already consider Wlad as being greater than Mayweather anyway. It's very common, and to be honest, Wlad is greater.

    • Schaefer said he has already begun early negotiations for a Mayweather-Saul "Canelo" Alvarez fight for that night. (i.e. Sept. 14)
"I've started having conversations and I'm planning on probably getting together some time later this week with Al Haymon (Mayweather's adviser) and talk to Canelo as well, and see if it can get done," Schaefer said.

Does this means that Floyd would take the Canelo fight? So it seems...
In my opinion it's too early for Alvarez for such a fight -- as Canelo showed the tendency to lower his hands in the late rounds, during the Trout fight... But the opportunity for Canelo to establish himself as a PPV star (on behalf of Mayweather's present status) would make him eventually accept Floyd's terms, even if these would lead to Canelo's first loss...

DLH and Cotto don't come in at 172. The kid is a ****ing joke. What if GGG called him out. How would YOU react to that?

Not sure If I'd say greater BUT he does have alot of things on Mayweather for saying sakes...
          • He's not a woman beater
          • He's not a criminal and or done time in jail
          • He actually has a education unlike Floyd
          • His family aren't the most embarrassing around unlike Floyd's junkie dad
          • He's actually likeable
          • He's still knocking people out at his age when Mayweather can't
          • Lastly he doesn't act like a ****wipe to sell his fights in other words he's a man with decency

BS. Floyd has fought at 154 twice and holds the WBA super world title.

Its a legit fight plus FLoyd admittedly doesn't fight catch weight fights.

            • I asked who do you people defending Floyd so much want to pay $70 to see him fight in sept like 10 pages ago and I didn't see 1 name mentioned. All I'm hearing is "Floyd calls the shots, not Canelo" "come down to 147 then if he wants him so bad" "fight him with a rehydration limit" "when Canelo becomes a ppv star, then he can demand Floyd". I'm seeing a bunch of this but I dared somebody to say that they will gladly pay $70 to see Floyd fight Amir Khan or Devon Alexander. I think 1 of them will get it and that's so horrible. It's pathetic. As good as Floyd looked he's gonna go and fight Khan after bum ass Julio Diaz almost knocked him out??? What's the point of that??? Alexander is horrible to watch, Khan isn't he just has a window for a chin. A cheap window. Devon got booed out of the building in bk when he won his title. Is he ppv worthy??? Does he deserve a Mayweather payday??? Lol

It doesn't matter if they didn't come in at 172.

Floyd has fought at 154 twice, holds a title there and is considered the best in the division after Canelo. It's a legit fight.

If Canelo can make the 154 limit, it doesn't matter what he hydrates to.

                • I still find this rehydration excuse hilarious. You make weight for the class you fight in, its really that simple. The weight you put on is more often a hindrance than a help. Gotta love these floboners trying to re invent the wheel.

He's fighting the winner of Matthysse-Peterson. I said before when i first asked not to mention Garcia or the other 2 since they are tied up already.
