Here is my take, I write a lot too :

Cotto vs Mayweather, Cotto came into the ring against Floyd at 165 lbs., but Canelo too big?
Floyd is a Jr. Middleweight Champion, and fought a Jr. Middleweight Champion who came in to the ring at 165 lbs (Cotto), so why you don´t he fight another Jr. Middleweight champion?, If someone tells me that Cotto is not a heavy guy your totally giving me the reason that Floyd picked the weakest Jr. Middleweight boxer or at least the less dangerous Jr. Middleweight boxer of the division.
    1) If you don´t want any business with the 154 guys, don´t mess with their division.
    2) Doesn´t matter if you weight 200 lbs in fight night, if you can do the 154 liimit before fight day , you´re in.
    3) Floyd has no match at 140-147, really, he has no match.
    4) At 154 there’s a lot of guys who could give Mayweather serious problems.
    5) If you really think you´re at a disadvantage on terms of weight, rehydration clause could be applied, almost 100% sure every boxer want his big payday against money may and they will do what floyd’s askin them.

Canelo getting in the ring with 172 pounds, was a strategy to counteract the size and built of Trout..Canelo usually gets into the ring around 166 pounds..167 with Mosley and 166 with Josesito..With floyd(if happens) they are scheming 166 and no more..For this fight Canelo would need speed and power, wich he has in this weight

Alvarez is a normal sized S.W.W. Trout, Smith, Kirkland, Foreman, Bundrage, and the likes all come in around 170lbs. Cotto was a very light and small S.W.W. and even he came in at 165 for his fights.
    Statin facts, tellin The Truth
Man sounds like a bunch of BS. The fact is there are a lot of fighters at Canelos weight that he hasn't mentioned that would be entertaining fights for fans, but as usual Canelo wants to fight a WW or JWW. Canelo has three wins over guys from 140 ( Alfonso Gomez, Ndou, and Lopez) and he weighed damn near 170 for those fights, how do you defend that?

Okay who is more deserving to fight Floyd in September if not Canelo? Real question, and it can not be a top rank fighter because obviously that will not happen. So who?

Who else is more deserving of the fight at 147 or 154? I consider myself a neutral fan because i like both dudes so as a boxing fan i think this fight hould def happen in september. Is this crazy talk?

I will be patient, not because I want to hear no one, because I would like to consider someone else if there is another guy who deserves the shot.

That's a good question. Unfortunately there is no one that isnt already tied up. I'm a huge Floyd fan and I think they should make the fight but at the same time there are fighters at Canelos weight that would be good fights to see as well (Angulo, Lara, and Kirkland)

                Wrong question.... Forget about Floyd.

The real question is if Canelo isn't willing to give up demands to make the Mayweather fight happen, who should he be targeting?

Lets see if you can come up with 4 good names? Or are you not even willing to try?

.... The post preceding this one just gave you 3 names... can you come up with 1 more?...

I hope Mayweather takes the fight, I don't think it would much of an accomplishment if he beat Canelo as I'm not sold on the kid, but at the same time I want to see what reaction the board would have if he simply outclassed Canelo.

That being said..... if you are a fan of Canelo, shouldn't you want him to fight top class fighters in his own division or the one above? Floyd got to where he was by cleaning out his first division, beating the number one guy in the next division, then fighting champions in the the Jr Welterweight, Welterweight and Jr Middleweight division. Hate him or love him, he didn't attempt to make his name by pulling up fighters from the division south of his. Before some ****** says Marquez, Mayweather was established by the time the fight was made.

You asked a good question but it can easily be asked to Canelo as well, there aren't any guys in his class that deserve a shoot at his title?

Canelo has plenty of names he can fight at 154. But I am more concerned with who Floyd decides to fight because his next opponent should be someone who is worthy and earned the shot, like Guerrero earned his, and I honestly can not think of anyone else who he can select where he will not get scolded for choosing. Canelo has many top names at 154 because it is stacked division, but as for Floyds september opponent i cant think of anyone else which is why i am asking for help from my fellow boxing freaks.
