Deja vu all over again. Floyd avoiding the fight fans want to see.
His fans are okay with it and approve of another waste-of-time fight.

Yes, I can read you fcking moron. Are you trying to be funny or something??? I wrote what I wrote because I'm reading a bunch of sht like "Canelo doesn't deserve the shot" "Canelo is young and inexperienced" "others deserve it more" "Floyd doesn't have to fight him next" So for all those people saying that, I want them to tell me who, realistically, they want to pay $70 dollars to see Floyd fight in Sept.

The fight won't get made in September, Floyd will likely fight Alexander, that PPV won't crack a million either meanwhile Canelo fights Cotto and likely breaks a million in his first PPV. Then GBP will approach Floyd again and smear his rep all over the media and when Floyd refuses this time, it's going to be just like the Pac fight that never happened.

The best thing Floyd can do is drop the belt and say "I'm a 147 pound fighter from here on out" and be done with it. Canelo and GBP aren't going to bend to much at all. If Floyd's next PPV is a sub-par producer, Showtime will start trying to force opponents on him.
If the PPV flops it would be even more of an incentive for Floyd to fight Canelo.

GBP already has the rest of the year lined up for all of his potential opponents:

        Garcia vs. Peterson/Matthysse
        Khan vs. Alexander
        Berto vs. Soto Karrass
        Maidana vs. Josesito Lopez

There is nobody from 140-147 that is available to fight him in September.

Plus he has 6 more months to defend his WBA title which he said he plans on defending in his next fight.

It's clear that Floyd vs. Canelo is happening in September. People just want to accuse him of ducking to troll.

This is hilarious.... "mathed" schooling us on the gate revenue!!! HA!! You can't write this $#!t!!!

Hey mathed.... how easy is it to sell a $10 fight ticket in San Antonio?

          http://www.************.com/2013/03/...il-20th-fight/

It's interesting how you cant find any information on the final gate revenue for Canelo v Trout.

So if it's gate revenue you want to compare... then you will have to look to Canelo v Lopez at the MGM Grand...... no tickets left (sold out) Total gate:
          $1.6 Million

Yeah... Canelo can sure generate those $10 & $20 ticket sales!!!

This from a article after the Trout fight, answer this Canelo fans??

Well, last night Canelo rehydrated up to a reported 172 lbs. for his 12 round unanimous decision win over WBA junior middleweight champion Austin Trout at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. You can do the math.

Mayweather is fighting at around 147 when he steps inside the ring for his fights at 147, then he’d be giving up 25 pounds to Canelo if Mayeather were to fight him. Even if Mayweather was gain a little bit of weight to fight Canelo in junior middleweight, we’re still talking about 20 pounds difference between the two of them.

I think Canelo needs to forget about Mayweather because he’s too big for him. No one is asking Mayweather to fight middleweights Chavez Jr. or Golovkin and Canelo is basically a middleweight righting at junior middleweight. Why doesn’t Canelo fight Chavez Jr., Golovkin or Sergio Martinez? Those guys are his own size? I don’t see Canelo calling them out. Is it because they’re same size as him?

floyds in a no win situation, if canelo moves down they gonna say he was drained wich will probably be true, but i also agree that canelo cant be calling any shots when it comes to fighting mayweather.

i have a feeling if canelo goes up to mw he wont be so good even if he cant make the 154 lbs anymore, canelo too short and not enough reach for that weight.

Floyd needs to fight Canelo there really is no one out there right now who is worthy of the fight. The fight has had some good buildup and makes sense $'s wise. If floyd doesn't fight with Canelo its a blatant duck imo, I've defended him before on Margarito and Pacqiao, but there's no escaping this one if it doesn't go down.

Of course you don't care because you don't incur the risk or understand the business.

It's called prize fighting for a reason.

Canelo is only 22... with an unimpressive list of opponents... he's got work to do.

No way Floyd is gonna make him millions until he pays his dues.

And if Canelo really wants to be "the man".... he's gonna have to be willing to get fleeced (80/20, 147, big ring, ect... Just like Floyd had to concede against ODL to secure that fight)

If he's willing to do that.... then he can get it in September.

Stop saying Mayweather fans don't want him to fight Canelo because that's a lie.I believe Canelo will be easy work for Mayweather because he's to slow and flat footed
