The problem is Mayweather refuses to fight anyone good he just wants to package second rate opponents that he knows he can beat. He's been doing it for about ten years now.

As @danrafaelespn just said, early indications are #MayweatherGuerrero PPV #'s on low side. Could change, but I'm hearing under 1 mill, too

      Episode 4 of All-Access, which premiered on May 1st, did 58,000 viewers. Episode 4 of 24/7 #MayweatherCotto on 5/4/12 did 310,000

Even if you're a diehard Floyd fan you should hope this ppv fell far short of a million. This is the ONLY way Floyd would face Canelo in Sept. Showtime will NOT allow him to face another B-level opponent and lose out on money by guaranteeing him $30+mil.

What type of numbers did fight camp 360 Pacquiao mosley do on Showtime?

man 58,000 viewers seems really low.

Floyd only on Showtime cause Al Haymon made that deal for himself, Haymon cut ties with HBO basically giving them a ridiculous offer.

it depends on the contract, but this SHOULD be good for the sport.

My prediction - Floyd and Canelo to share a PPV first, then fight each other. Thats even IF it happens - Canelo will probably jack his asking price up as all this fight plus the cold war has done is increased his leverage tenfold - make that twenty fold.

Bar Pac, Marquez and Canelo, not sure Showtime have any other options that run at a profit with the absurd $32 million guarantee im afraid.

            Just terrible business.

Showtime doesn't do the same level of promotion HBO does. 24/7 is worlds ahead.

                    ^ This....

There is something much more appealing when a fight is on HBO than when it is on showtime

The Cotto-Trout series had little enough narration and it was a lot better than Mayweather-Guerrero. It's the fact that it was a cheap imitation of 24/7 that really hurt All Access. The should try a different format rather than trying to flog the same old crap every time.
