The same way Mayweather looks ****** now that Marquez did what we all wanted to see if he could to Pacquiao, Mayweather would look ****** if he tries to "marinate" a fight with Alvarez and the kid loses beforehand.

If Canelo loses to Cotto then he didnt deserve the fight. And most us would be yelling "why didnt Floyd fight that OVERRATED ginger bastard"? So if you think hes overrated why do you want the fight?

I think it's in Canelos and boxings best interest to fight and beat Cotto on PPV in September.

If there are over 1 million PPV buys, Canelo can use that as leverage towards a bigger cut vs Mayweather in May especially since Cotto was coming off 2 losses in a row.

If Cotto vs Canelo sells 1 million+ on PPV, AND Canelo KO's Cotto, I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 million+ PPV sales for Camelo v Mayweather.

It's a big gamble obviously for Canelo, but one which could benefit him immensely.

Cotto/Alvarez fight wouldn't sell 500,000 PPVs, let alone 1 million. If they fight, Cotto KO's Canelo or wins by unamious decision, not the other way around.
