Only way Floyd faces Canelo in Sept is if his fight with Guerrero falls far short of 1mil buys which is quite possible. Showtime will not guarantee him another 30+mil for facing another B-level opponent with no drawing power. The only opponent for Floyd to face in Sept that will bring in well over 1mil buys is Canelo. Both are available. Both are promoted by GBP. Both will make lots of money. Its the biggest fight that can be made in Sept. What's the problem?

It's true, but can't blame us for not taking it at face value. Floyd words are not always reliable, and you just look at his track record, and 2 fights in 4 months seems very implausible. Props if he follows through, especially against riskier guys.

This is the only fight regarding Floyd I am interested in, honestly it has to happen now otherwise it won't happen later. If it won't happen later because the more this fight marinates the more demands Canelo will be in position to make.
