Canelo can fight another 154lber and i don't think it'll be bad because he just fought the #1 154lber, so he'd be practically fighting the #1-2 guys under him. With fighting Floyd, it's an all out event. They struggled to really promote this fight with Guerrero, so the next fight HAS to be bigger, but out of the options, who brings the biggest interest? Amir Khan who looked ****ty in his last fight? Danny Garcia who didn't have THAT easy a time with Zab Judah? The winner of Peterson vs Matthysse?

The only fight for Floyd that I believe is a huge event is with Canelo, but that's clearly not happening until next year. Floyd is literally out of opponents that at least we care to see him in with. Unless he genuinely needs the money, wait till next May. The contract under Showtime doesn't OBLIGATE (again...OBLIGATE) him to fight 6 times, but "UP TO" six times.

Larry, not with a cw! You'll find lots of posts of mine at this time that nel o was green. But it was still the fight to take at time. Nobody thought it would be great win though. Being green meant nel o hadn't beat anyone of note and he never looked like much of a killer in beating who he did beat.
Floyd should fight nel o now, coming off win over kovalev. Nel o is looking a bit of a killer now

it suprises me that Nelo was that big back then with no big names on record , they did much more PPV then with Mosley or Cotto (this guys were proven when they fought Floyd)
