So what about Atkins diet or Ketosis I said that's incorrect?

I mean I don't attack you personally I discuss on your arguments. Don't attack me, attack my arguments. What I wrote wrong in my last post??

It is very hard I agree. But I didn't comment on that or how good it is. I was commenting on processes that are happening in the human body.

Atkins diet is based on eating fats and proteins. It's good because as you said it's very hard to eat more calories (just on fats and proteins) than you burn.

But if you eat more fats than you burn you'll gain fat.

oh i stopped reading your posts long ago, i just happen to know what they are gonna say without reading it.

when you said earlier in the thread "carbs cannot be converted to fat," that pretty much summed up how much knowledge of nutrition you have. stick to math would be my recommendation, though if your math knowledge is as extensive as your nutrition knowledge, good god...

you seem to know literaly nothing about nutrition insdie the body, the only you know is how to spell protein, carbs, and fat, correctly. beyond that, there is no positive merits, whatsoever. its nothing to be ashamed of, its not that easy of a field to figure out... oh wait, yes it is. hmm...

Process that you described can happen but it happens in amounts that don't affect you in the greater way. It's much much more significant because body is storing the ACTUAL FATS you ate that day.
Please read the post I responded to again, in which you deny categorically that carbs can be turned into fat. I just responded to you saying that is incorrect because it is.

Well yes if you break it down to fats proteins vitamins , like the guy your having a shot at said its calories in calories out , its all about balancing your diet and that can include sugars the body takes what it needs and the rest passes through , fast metabolism is key to eating so called junk food but for an athlete its just balance and moderation .

I agree it's more about technicality, but not many people understands it.
It's obviously easier with you as you picked it up I assume

I haven't boxed myself in Cambridge although I heard about the place. Never been there really. It was a very busy time back then

                  Keep it simple guys...

                  Calorie Surplus = Weight Gain
                  Calorie Deficit = Weight Loss
