There are no such things as unhealthy food unless like trans fat. People are unhealthy from being obese which since those foods are calorie dense compared to brocoli and that other ****. So you are most likely going to go over your maintence calories.Corralation does not mean causation those food are not what make you unhealthy.

Now you are right about the EFFECT of carbs. Only carbs and fats are used as body energy throughout a day, body will use first carbs and then fats. If there is too many carbs body doesn't need to touch fats to get the energy.
In that case carbs would 'protect' fats to be spent and fat will be stored in your body. One more thing is that carbs can't be stored for longer periods of time, fats can.
Insulin ****e will direct your body to use either carbs or fats but carbs that are not spent are not converted to fat. fat is fat, carb is carb.

Do you know what are carbohydrate (chemically) and what are lipids?
Could you please explain to me how two totally different chemical compounds can be transformed to each other?
ONLY FAT IS STORED AS FAT!
I am up for a civil conversation and discussion.
Beyonce ate just maple syrup (I can't think of anything that contains more carbs) to lose weight.Last edited by Simurgh; 04-30-2013, 03:05 PM.

I wonder how many other boxers fight around their walk around weight.
This is why Floyd can always take his time and use all 12 rounds. His opponent will slow down starting in about rd 8 or 9 because he's drained 20 pounds. Floyd is just warming up around round 8, so even if he's behind on the cards he knows he can sweep the last 4 rds if he has to.
Gotta respect it!!

And I will not come up with my own opinion because science is not opinion-based and that is what you fail to understand. It's not about what we believe, it's about what we find, that's what we do research for.

I am like Floyd in the sense that I have a high metabolism and can eat, for the most part, what I want and I stay fairly trim. But, it is simply because I have worked out regularly, lifting weights, running, biking for over 10 years. TBH it is the main motivator for my exercise. I like to eat what I want.

What makes people confused is the effect of carbs (as they are rarely taken alone).
But saying that fats actually turn to fats is just like saying my weight on Moon is the same as on Earth
