It has nothing to do with Marquez... I'm basing this on race. Based on the posts I've read on here, Mexicans are the ones who buy most of the fights on PPV. If this is true, do you think Mexicans will choose Mayweather over Marquez, esp. on Independence Day? Like I said before No Disrespect to Money May, but unless Mayweather is fighting Canelo in Sept, no way he outsells Bradley Vs Marquez. I know race is a touchy subject on here, but it's still real out here in the real world. This is just my opinion and come Sept. I could be proven wrong, but I am willing to bet all my points (I know I have none ) plus some real money that unless Money is fighting Canelo come September, he won't outsell Marquez vs Bradley.

GBP's got their own issues. If Floyd doesn't fight Canelo you would have two fighters in their own camp competing for a 9/14 date unless Canelo fights on Floyd's undercard.

Seeing how he packed a basketball arena I doubt he ever fights as an undercard or co-main ever again.

arum knew that goldenboy had aready booked to fight that weekend.HBO and marquez are going to take a hit.because if mayweather vs canelo happen.that fight trumps jmm vs bradley. or even if its canelo vs cotto. i would want to pay for that fight than pay for jmm and bradley.arum is ****** dumb.

Marquez-Bradley just went from a potential 150-250k if they had gone up against Canelo vs Cotto, to under 100k if they go up against Mayweather vs TBA.

I'm starting to think Arum is purposely doing this. I think he has something against Marquez and Bradley. But mostly Marquez, for declining to fight Pacquiao. I this is Arum's way of saying,

"Okay, you want Bradley? You can have Bradley on September 14th. Good luck getting any viewers though, Juan." - Bob Arum

So Arum is either dumb to put this fight against Mayweather, or he's being spiteful over Marquez declining to fight Pacquiao.
Not hate, but he just want to prove a point to them. They dont sell, stop asking for so much money. However, if Bob wants to ruin Floyd he can put on the undercard Chavez/Golovkin, Nonito/Juanma, (I know I am dreaming) and he will ruin Floyd numbers. You know if Floyd is fighting Devon or Khan, that other card will crush them.

Anyways, If Showtime has Mayweather on that date I feel whatever HBO/TR puts up will be a non-PPV show.
If going against them was intent to outsell them.
If this happens, he knows the event won't outsell them, so essentially he's doing it to mess them up

this is a true test of marquez ppv power after beating pacquiao.

Last time marquez fought on ppv without floyd or pacquiao he sold less than 100k and the arena had a lot of empty seats blacked out.
