Your reply is funny. But he's got a point, I agree. Bradley vs Marquez is the real fight right there. Unless Mayweather is actually going to fight Canelo. it aint going to be nothing but two expensive tune-up fights. I'll catch those free online. and Pay for Marquez-Bradley!!!

Golden Boy have more of a problem if Floyd and Canelo don't fight each other. Its more like who's gonna budge between them two.

Floyd needs Canelo going head to head with Marquez-Bradley. Can't be another Robert Guerrero class fighter. But I doubt either Golden Boy or Top Rank would go head to head with their top draws (Floyd or Manny).

Don't think Floyd will fight as early as September (after a May fight, and after the roughing up that Robert will give him).

That said, I think Oscar puts Canelo up against Marquez on Mexican Independence weekend. It'll be Canelo vs Cotto against Marquez vs Bradley.

Mexico vs Puerto Rico on that September date will out-sell the Top Rank event. Bob will have to stack the undercard, but even then, it won't do better numbers than Canelo vs Cotto, two hugely popular boxing stars.

TR undercard fights that might help:

          Rios vs Provodnikov
Mikey Garcia vs Rocky or Juanma
Estrada vs Segura or Gonzalez II

If he can put this ish together, I'll go with the HBO Pay Per View... do it Bob.

Floyd doesn't necessarily need Canelo. He does need a good fight though. For example I would rather see Devon Alexander and Floyd than Marquez Bradley.

              ^^^^^this.

end of the day, niether jmm or bradley are pay per view draws.

What this does is suck for boxing fans that would actually like to see BOTH cards.

The PPV industry won't allow two big competing shows on the same night.

If Floyd fights he automatically wins this struggle for GBP. But it's funny too see how quickly Bradley 'fans' are turning on a very good fight while they would buy Mayweather-Alexander which is like the ultimate stinker in terms of matchmaking.
