Didn't Arum just say in a interview that he would never go up against a Mayweather PPV event? He said that would be crazy on his part?

Anyways, If Showtime has Mayweather on that date I feel whatever HBO/TR puts up will be a non-PPV show.

Unless Floyd was doing his trixies again.... it'll probably be Devon

You realize that Chavez sales more than Bradley and Marquez unless they have Pacquiao right? And he's going to be the co-feature Bob doesn't stack cards like that, Don King did but not Arum.

If Floyd fights Devon he will need to commit to the Canelo fight so he appears on that undercard. Otherwise the majority of fans will tune into the TR card as it's a competitive bout, just like last year. Props to Canelo for not propping up Floyd's noncompetitive fights with his popularity.

I mean wouldn't it be better for the sport if you support Marquez and Bradley on their first PPV without Pac?

That Would Be ***iin ****** And Unfair To Boxing Fans! Should never be two Big PPV's the same damn Date, no other sport does that besides boxing

Stop trying to split up boxing fans and force them to choose network and promotions

If by the majority of fans you mean 100k people will buy Marquez-Bradley as opposed to 1Million+ buying Mayweather's card, I agree.

Marquez-Bradley just went from a potential 150-250k if they had gone up against Canelo vs Cotto, to under 100k if they go up against Mayweather vs TBA.

I'm starting to think Arum is purposely doing this. I think he has something against Marquez and Bradley. But mostly Marquez, for declining to fight Pacquiao. I this is Arum's way of saying,

"Okay, you want Bradley? You can have Bradley on September 14th. Good luck getting any viewers though, Juan." - Bob Arum

So Arum is either dumb to put this fight against Mayweather, or he's being spiteful over Marquez declining to fight Pacquiao.
                  Interesting thought.
