of course they did... not like they could have their precious Canelo lose and then not make up an excuse and rematch him.

This makes Trout look bad. Trout didn't make any excuses and his camp shouldn't either

It easily could have been judged a 10-9 round. Alvarez got the knockdown five seconds in, and spent the rest of the round doing nothing while Trout fought back admirably and pretty much dominated the round.

wrong, trout did start winning the round at the 1:18 mark of the round, so how did he win the majority of the round? nor did he dominate enough to win that round people just let the way things are perceived to dictate their scoring but thats not how rounds are judged.

A good judge will make cliff notes (that why you see them writing inbetween rounds) so they dont forget what going on. Everyone who have the fight on dvd or download can clearly see canelo scored the KD which makes it at 10-9 round and then he goes on to win the round all the way to the last 1:18 where trout won the reminder so canelo won more of the round and scored the KD which makes it a 10-8 round.

Trout didnt win the last 1:18 in such a fashion that you will give him the round over canelo work in the 3:00-1:18 mark of the fight.

              Easy 10-8 Round for Canelo.

I don't think he dominated either, but I do think he won the fight.

I had Canelo winning by 2 points.

Awe yes, when you lose your always injured.

If you weren't injured then you were weight drained.

If you failed a drug test, you only failed it due to extenuating circumstances(IE: CONTAMINATION!!!!)

I pay no mind to these reasons, I just go by the results in ring.

Twisted his ankle getting rocked? Not excuse worthy IMO.

Regardless. Truly bad ankle sprains are incapacitating. Trout could stand. He could move. He was just fine.
