Austin Trout Injured for Canelo fight

My understanding is that Trout injured his ankle during the KD, and only noticed the extent of the damage after the fight. Good for him that he was able to continue. These types of awkward KDs are funny to watch, but they must be painful. I guess this will be the reason if he doesn't return to the ring soon.
athletes roll ankles and play through it pretty regularly.
if you're laced tight into a high top boxing boot and you're in the middle of a fistfight you'll feel stiffness and pain, but your ankle won't keep you from fighting. after time you'll hardly even notice it, as long as you're able to stay warm, and you keep that shoe on.
it's that night and in the following days when you become sore, and your leg will swell. once he got his boxing shoes off he probably really started to get stiff.Comment

It depends on the individual. My nephew got into a fight at a bar, and when he stepped off the bar he broke his ankle.
He didn't know he had broken it, continued to fight and then for 2 days thought it was just a sprain.
I'm sure Trout was feeling pain there, but with the adrenalin he probably didn't feel much other than stiffness I'm guessing.Comment

no way it could have been a 10-9 rd, he got caught with big shots and buckled again after the kdComment

I know it wasn't him, reason I said people are trying to go out of their way to make people dislike Trout, even though he didn't say it.Comment
